Kino Journeys is awesome.

I got it in a big box of Anime, and put it in for what-the-fucks, and I really enjoyed it.

It starts with Luffy beating everyone... non-stop with no indication of even being challenged or threatened.

It's not about the fights dude, it's about the characters.

Also, suffice to say, that doesn't last forever. Of course it is Shonen, he will probably kick everyone's ass eventually.

Hehehe, I agree with you for the first half of the show.  He starts off pretty overpowered, but it just gets worse and worse for the poor guy.  I think I'm considering him as a woobie currently.

They're half animal/beast, you can't condone them for that.  It's biological.

Aria is probably one of the very, very few slow-paced, peaceful anything that somehow manages to not be boring. The show is very self-aware in that. This is anime to relax your mind, not bore or annoy.

A slow torrent, on the other hand...

Gonna update my "status" if you can call it that.  Not going to list what I've completed because I won't be able to remember them all.

For anime I've currently watching these:
Fractale - Kinda neat show, very recent and only going to be 11 episodes so I won't get too attached.
Spice and Wolf - I'm on episode 3 now I think, kinda neat again I say, I'm just in it for the economics hehehe.
Neon Genesis Evangelion - Episode 6 "now", stopped watching like a month ago so I could watch better shows.  I here the movies are cool though so we have that...
Bakemonogatari - Beh.
One Piece - Every Sunday baby.
Bleach - ;_;  whhhyyyyy brother whyyyyy

I need to start quite of bit of shows, too much to list anyway.

My main aim right now is manga though, which is a smaller plate but whatever:
The Lucifer and The Biscuit Hammer - Hell yeah, I'm over half way done now and hell yeaaaahhh.  (Fuck panty shots though)
Fairy Tail - bluh bluh another shounen, nah I'm joking it's cool.
Bakuman - wish it got less boring, still kinda boring, maybe it'll get less boring, maybe...
Detective Conan - never gonna end is it

Go and watch the second, it's the best.

Hmm the twist was to be expected, although I thought something else would happen.
What annoys me was that he only seems to have two facial expressions (quite content and not impressed).
I realize his callousness is used with intent, but I really miss the drama somehow.

Not that I don't like it or won't watch it further, this have just been some thoughts so far.
