This game of Multiworld Madness has grown too large for me to handle. What would you have me do?

Muster up remaining strength and complete the current chapter. Bring the game to a logical close, then reboot it.

Same as 1, but a whole new game will be started instead, still Multiworld, but no longer Madness.

Get just this last turn done and reboot the game. No point wasting energy if updating takes so long.

Only on bay12 would you get a serious conversation about how to program doomsday dice cascader.

Well, there's no serious reason not to, so why the flying funk not?

Although there's a reason for me not to program it currently. It currently made me remember how to do long multiplication, and now requires me to reproduce it in code, while operating with strings instead of numbers. It ain't gonna be pretty. I'd much rather get a new turn out.

I like this! arguing over numbers no one in general gets. heh a lot of people don't even understand the difference between a billion and a trillion till you explain some. On the number thing a random number is random so putting a lot of d10s in a row would technically be just as random as if you used a BFD, of course you would have to count the result of 10 as if it where 0 like you would when rolling a d100 using the 2 d10 methods... I just realized that of course the thing would work alright because it is already used for the d100.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

HAHAA!

Cascader!

It's as good an implementation as I could muster.
Requirements: Hands, Mouse, Computer that has .NET Framework 2.0.
I tried the Xd10 approach, but it had this awful tendency to always go for the huge numbers. (it basically requires several 0's to be rolled in a row at the end of the number) So I added a random call to see how many digits would be rolled for. The result seems acceptable.

haHA! IT WORKS!

CHEESE DELUXE WILL RISE AGAIN!

Thank you for doing something so utterly ridiculous!

edit:
Die Crucible #6 Contains a d11065421949696!
Roll result is 9!

May i say it works fairly close to the original?

In case you're interested, the "Please wait 1 second while the CDCDRD recharges" line is because I seed the randomizer on the current hour+minute+second. Which is, now that I think of it, ridiculous. Wait a sec, I'll redo it to be year+month+day+hour+minute+second+millisecond.

this is much faster.

Master Die showeth '3'!
3 Die Crucibles Activating!
Die Crucible #1 Contains a d6!
Roll result is 1!
Die Crucible #2 Contains a d6!
Roll result is 1!
Die Crucible #3 Contains a d6!
Roll result is 1!

*Frowns* it seems to lean toward epic fails. I'm seeing a lot of ones here.

Haha, yes, it can do that too. Fun thing.

edit: I image that would've been unpleasant:
Master Die showeth '6'!
6 Die Crucibles Activating!
Die Crucible #1 Contains a d6!
Roll result is 5!
Die Crucible #2 Contains a d210!
Roll result is 19!
Die Crucible #3 Contains a d3990!
Roll result is 832!
Die Crucible #4 Contains a d3319680!
Roll result is 901!
Die Crucible #5 Contains a d298101031680!
Roll result is 5046405!
Die Crucible #6 Contains a d141043385367741010103100!
Roll result is 292603848886588735666!

Rolls? Sure!
6,3,2,3,4,3,1,6,3,5,1,2,6,1,2,1,3,1,4,2,2,2,2,1,2,2,5,1,3,2,1,5,1,4. In order and without bonuses. Happy? ;)

Yes, it won't be a very good turn.

Number of rolls which succeeded:12
Number of rolls which failed: 10
Number of "fun" rolls:12

Probability of this happening: I'm a math major, and I still say screw statistics.
