And this is discounting the Ammo License you need in the first place.

Pretty much as far as I've gathered.
Yeah, because their are gonna be all over you for killing Zombies without the proper License!

Pish katanas nothing stands next to the double eged european blades you can work on the back swing with those and they can be wielded effectivly with one hand so dual weilding actually works.

I don't like the idea of close weapons at all.

It's possible that one scratch from a zombie could infect you, then you're worse than dead.
I'll take another thousand or so .22 bullets for the weight.

How do you take a topic of your watched list?  When you are not interested any more in it?

Can't say that I know, I've never used the watch topics list feature.

There's the exotic solutions though: kill the thread, possibly by starting a lock-inducing flame war; make a new account; destroy the entire forum.

That's all I can think of though.

*Cough*

*Raises hand*

If I had the choice between a Chainsword against a horde of enemies, or a accurate and easily Rechargable Lasgun, WITH SCOPE, I'd take the Las Gun, and a HIGH UP vantage point.

No it isn't because I'm a 'wee lass', its just SMARTER. You wouldn't be a Space Marine. Oh no, they would be to busy planning the planets Exterminatus. You wouldn't have enough stamina to last against that many enemies. And if its a matter of simply fighting when you have to, I'll fight when I DON'T have to, from FAR away, where they can't do shit about it.

BECAUSE ITS SMART.

Course this is speaking in 40K terms for a Nurgle infestation. Otherwise, I'd just grab a shot gun and shells, and run like hell hoping I never had to shoot it in the first place.

But with the lasgun, you will only be able to wound on a 6!

Sorry Org. But if anything I'm putting book standards on this one. Your actual game rules mean NOTHING.

In most of the books, a Las Round can EASILY penetrate through a skull. Ammo is pretty much limitless in a logistics fashion. It is economically the best weapon a guardsmen could have, as your fielding near a trillion of them.

Despite actual gameplay, the reality is a single Las Shot CAN take down an Ork.

If it hits the right place...three more will do it in for sure.

And god rest your soul if you set the thing to Repeater Mode. Its no Bolter, but it will FUCK YOU UP. Flash light or not.

It was a joke.  ;)

Yes, I know. Ive read some books, and lasguns aren't horrible.(But still not as good as a bolter)

If there was a Nurgle Infestation, I would build a big platform on my roof with which I would smite my enemies with the fury of HEAVY BOLTERS.

And run out of ammo.

Unless underneath you had an armoury. But than it would get blown up, you and your heavy bolters with it.

So either way, in the end, you should have gone with something less splodey.

LIKE A LAS GUN. D:<
