Feel free to try. I won't join (no interest in forts right now). Good luck though.

I have a pretty snazzy plan:

Assuming I have time to grab all my supplies, I'd get them all, assuming I didn't, It would be in this order:

Water
Food
Aluminum Baseball Bat
Laptop
Blankets
2 Cat
Ferret

And then... I'd take it all up to my 3rd floor, which has a nice 1.5" metal based mattress which I would barricare the door with, and then an attic and a roof I could use as last hope escapes (Both would probably result in injury, but is a better alternative). Then I would camp out, checking the news every so often hoping the internet didn't go down. And in the morning? I'm playing DFortress!

I'm assuming the cats and ferrets are there as a source of fresh food? Good thinking!

I would probably take only my katana with me, maybe a pocket knife if it wounded up in my pocket.

I dont think it will be usefull to have anything else as it is just extra carriage.

I would leave on my bike for fleeing purposes.

By the way, what kind of zombies are you guys talking about? the running or the crawling kind? Hungry for humes only or anything that's edible (including vegetarians?  ::))

I would probably look through the cutlery drawer for the biggest knife in the house. I would also bring my first-aid kit, my other first-aid kit, some food and water, matches, hand sanitizer, duct tape, and a pencil and some paper, mostly because my house is poorly-stocked for the apocalypse and I can't think of anything better to bring. I will find some other survivors and attempt to trade my surplus of useless medical supplies for guns. Then I would set off to find my friends*, so we could pose as a team, 'cause shit just got real.

*Friends in this case meaning 'people who I know will be better prepared than I am.'

Wow this thread brings back memories.

I'll just row out to an island with a couple year's worth of and wait until they all starve. Provided they are too stupid to swim or use a boat. And provided they don't become cannibalistic and outlast me. And provided I can make it to the boat. And... hmmm this is kind of falling apart.

Who wishes for a very realistic zombie game?

Like DF with good graphics and all that.

If zombies attacked, I'd probably head out to southern Utah.  Lots of places out there where you can see for miles and miles while sitting atop a plateau.  And if I needed an easily recognizable and defensible place to wait for known rescue, Zion National Park, Angel's Landing.  Enormously narrow and steep path, people die there all the time...  IF zombies managed to even get up there while shambling, just wing them with a bullet and they'd plummet a few hundred feet.  Landscape FTW.  Also, I know for a fact that the bunnies out there are A) easy to catch and B) delicious.  Besides, even if I died, I love the place and there's no better spot to go.  >_>

I recently got together my emergency bug out bag. It's got 4 mres, 4 bottles of water, a field knife, a piece of foil insalation, a bdu jacket, and extra socks. My old combat boots, my .22 long, and bullet are right next to it.
