Turn 16: Grand Theft Gas.
Kick the creature in the back. Try to knock it over, so that it will be unable to move.
[3] - You kick it from the back, but the tall man is just staggered for a moment. This gives you enough time to move away from it's reach. The man prepares to fight. This one is unnarmed, but it's bloodied claws look nasty.
Wait, claws? At this point, you notice that the bloody and filthy face of the thing doesn't have the same shape of a human head. It's limbs are long and furred, and it's face is similar to that of a jackal.
Knowledge Gained: Ghouls: I
Contemplate my gem. Try to figure out what it does by sheer force of will.
[6] - You grab the colorful and glowy gem, and focus really hard on it. You will it to do something, and the gem starts glowing very hard again. It's kind of like staring into the sun, and your eyes hurt. The rainbow light is so strong you are temporarily rendered blind by it.
I guess that explains why the room seemed darker than before.
Try to remember some offensive spell from egyptian book of the dead.
[2] - Sadly, you are quite sure the book of the dead didn't contain anything else useful. You clearly remember the rest of the book was pretty mundane stuff, except for some small details you thought that were odd (Like the Elder Sign). You are quite sure that "magic" would probably either require some training or a boon from a higher being.
Get the sword out of my foot, and wield it. advance on the creature carefully and attempt to slice it's neck.
[5] - You quickly pull the sword from your impaled foot and prepare to attack it while it's distracted on Nathaniel. As you are currently behind it and the ghoul hasn't noticed you yet, slashing it's throath is quite easy.
The ghoul yelps in horrible pain as a fountain of sickly, greenish blood comes out of the fatal wound. It desperately tries to cover it's cut neck with it's hand, but the blood just keeps going out. The wretch wont survive for long.
Steal the gas
(I want this to go fast, so I'm gonna make a single roll for the whole event.)
[6] - Well, you got your gas.
At first, you tried to stealth it, but one of the workers at the gas station found you out. You threatened him with your gun, but it decided to fight back and you ended shoting him on accident. Then, the other worker heard the gunshot and called the police, so, (to save on bullets), you hit him in the head with your bottle and choked him. He's still alive, but tied to a chair. The police is coming soon, but you have time to escape or use the hostages for negotiation whent they come.
You are currently inside of the store of the gas station, with the cashier(he surrendered) and the worker tied to chairs next to the body of the first worker. You lost a bullet, broke your bottle and (because you couldn't find anything better) gained a bucket filled with the gas you needed. Of course, you also stole a lighter.
Don't die.
[1] - The ghoul bleeds out instantly in a very anti-climatic way. While they might be physically strong, they lack any sort of armor.
((Will update sheets later. I didn't have a lot of time for this turn, sorry if it's kind of incomplete or if there are typos.))
