(Still missing 2 players. juicebox or DolosusDoleus need to post, otherwise I might start accepting more players and put them in a waitlist.)

Immortality like that would be even more game breaking than four Aaron's in one place.
You're both so obviously scum that this is a surprisingly difficult decision.

Turn 16: Grand Theft Gas.

Kick the creature in the back. Try to knock it over, so that it will be unable to move.

[3] - You kick it from the back, but the tall man is just staggered for a moment. This gives you enough time to move away from it's reach. The man prepares to fight. This one is unnarmed, but it's bloodied claws look nasty.

Wait, claws? At this point, you notice that the bloody and filthy face of the thing doesn't have the same shape of a human head. It's limbs are long and furred, and it's face is similar to that of a jackal.

Knowledge Gained: Ghouls: I

Contemplate my gem. Try to figure out what it does by sheer force of will.

[6] - You grab the colorful and glowy gem, and focus really hard on it. You will it to do something, and the gem starts glowing very hard again. It's kind of like staring into the sun, and your eyes hurt. The rainbow light is so strong you are temporarily rendered blind by it.

I guess that explains why the room seemed darker than before.

Try to remember some offensive spell from egyptian book of the dead.

[2] - Sadly, you are quite sure the book of the dead didn't contain anything else useful. You clearly remember the rest of the book was pretty mundane stuff, except for some small details you thought that were odd (Like the Elder Sign). You are quite sure that "magic" would probably either require some training or a boon from a higher being.

Get the sword out of my foot, and wield it. advance on the creature carefully and attempt to slice it's neck.

[5] - You quickly pull the sword from your impaled foot and prepare to attack it while it's distracted on Nathaniel. As you are currently behind it and the ghoul hasn't noticed you yet, slashing it's throath is quite easy.

The ghoul yelps in horrible pain as a fountain of sickly, greenish blood comes out of the fatal wound. It desperately tries to cover it's cut neck with it's hand, but the blood just keeps going out. The wretch wont survive for long.

Steal the gas

(I want this to go fast, so I'm gonna make a single roll for the whole event.)

[6] - Well, you got your gas.

At first, you tried to stealth it, but one of the workers at the gas station found you out. You threatened him with your gun, but it decided to fight back and you ended shoting him on accident. Then, the other worker heard the gunshot and called the police, so, (to save on bullets), you hit him in the head with your bottle and choked him. He's still alive, but tied to a chair. The police is coming soon, but you have time to escape or use the hostages for negotiation whent they come.

You are currently inside of the store of the gas station, with the cashier(he surrendered) and the worker tied to chairs next to the body of the first worker. You lost a bullet, broke your bottle and (because you couldn't find anything better) gained a bucket filled with the gas you needed. Of course, you also stole a lighter.

Quote from: Ghoul
Don't die.

[1] - The ghoul bleeds out instantly in a very anti-climatic way. While they might be physically strong, they lack any sort of armor.

((Will update sheets later. I didn't have a lot of time for this turn, sorry if it's kind of incomplete or if there are typos.))

get my stabbed foot out of the shoe carefully, and start trying to bandage it up. Use my shirt and make a tourniquet if I have to, or any other sufficiently thick cloth that can be used to apply pressure and stem the flow.

It didn't cut very deeply, but walking hurts now.
I think you're probably fine.

Anyway, neat gem, but I'm not sure it's immediately useful... Try to will it to glow at a reasonable level so I can see what's in the room and try to get my cell open.

((Sheets updated. Also, Josephi has too much stuff on his inventory, so he will need to drop something if he plans to escape quickly. Inventories are physical, that's why I left some backpacks at the house.))

((Because the ghoul is dead, the underground passage it was guarding is now accessible.))

Clearly you've never been stabbed before. It might not hurt too terribly much, but I should get it checked to make sure I don't bleed out.

Turn 17: It Keeps Happening.

HEY! MR BLONDE! YOU SEE TOO MANY MOVIES?! It'll be almost impossible to save you now if you end up in custody!

[4] - You rip part of your shit with the blade of the sword and make a makeshift bandage for the wound. It's good enough to stop the bleeding from the foot, but you still can't run without hurting your foot. You shouldn't need ore treatement unless you try something stupid like kicking a door with the bandaged foot.

I think you're probably fine.

Anyway, neat gem, but I'm not sure it's immediately useful... Try to will it to glow at a reasonable level so I can see what's in the room and try to get my cell open.

[4+1] - The gem glows with a soft, rainbow light. It's not much, but it will do for now. Strange, you are quite sure it should have been shining very strong right now...

You examine with your own eyes the cell you are currently in. There's a lot of webs and water seems to be leaking from the celling. There's some moss in the walls and the bars of your cell are very rusty and damaged. You try pushing the door of your cell, but it doesn't budge.

You try reaching outside of the cell, and a spectral hand pulls from your arm. You struggle, but you can't escape the strong grip of the figure. You scream in pain as you feel your arm being ripped off your body. It then lunges at you through the bars of the cell and claws at your face.

...

You quickly check and confirm that you still have both of your arms. You probably imagined the whole event.

Now that you have enough light, you notice that the shape you noticed at the corner of your cell is actually a sleeping young man, about your age and with blond hair. Huh, he looks kinda familiar. Do you want to wake him up?

Head back to home we started in, I am old man after all. And I feel tired.

[1] - You trip on your (still!) untied shoelaces, fall down the steps of the chapel entrance and hit your face against the ground yet again. You grumble about how much you hate these stupid mummy curses and stairs.

(I swear, the dice hates you.)

[3] - Other than a few poems to the toad god, you don't manage to find anything useful. Eibon might have been a wizard, but he clearly insane when he wrote this book. There's a lot of inconsistent parts that make no sense. In some parts, he calls Zhothaqquah a "very squat and pot-bellied monstruous toad" and then he instantly entions his "great girth and batlike furriness." Is it a bat, or a toad? Is it both? Is it none? Is this probably just a huge waste of time? The answer is probably yes to all of them.

The cultist notes the presence of the downstairs and descends them. She comes back after a while.

"I can see why was the ghoul warding this area. The masonry becomes very old after a few steps, so this must be an entrance to the old sewers and the cult's headquarters. They must have made an alliance with the ghouls of this graveyard to guard this entry and gather sacrifices. Wait here."

She returns to where Ryan is sitting, in front of the chapel.

"Hey, can you stand up?"

((I decided to increase the player cap. New players will be able to either join this mission or remain at the dream hub AKA Azathoth's Palace.))
