The dog behind the man behind the beard.
Immortality like that would be even more game breaking than four Aaron's in one place.
You're both so obviously scum that this is a surprisingly difficult decision.

Turn 18: The Old Sewers.

await regrouping then proceed downward in the darkness carefully, sword at the ready.

[1] - You're tired of waiting.  Antioch disappeared, Josephi left to get gas, Ryan was wounded and decided to stay back, John fled to the house and the cultist returned with Ryan. You get fed up with this "team" and decide to go alone. You descend the stairs that lead below the chapel and Nathaniel follows you. He looks sick and terrified, so you aren't sure if he will be useful.

No, you are quite sure all of them are worthless tools. They are just wasting your time. While Nathaniel is distracted exploring the underground passage and crying about insects, you move foward and leave him behind.

You affinity to the dark makes it somewhat easier to see in the pure darkness, so you continue moving at a fast pace. After a while, you end in a circular room with 3 entrances. While examining it, you find out that each path looks the exactly the same as the others.

You can't find the way back.

Search the room for a new weapon. You can keep the sword.

[6] - You follow Mallo to the underground passage. It's very hard to see and before you realize what's going on, you get lost in the dark. You try calling for Mallo, but he either doesn't want to answer or can't hear you.

While blinded by the darkness, you start hearing strange noises coming from behind. You run, but your escape is blocked by a sticky wall. You look back and see small, black critters flooding the walls and floor of the hallway. Spiders. They bite and tear your skin, paralyze your body with their posion and slowly crawl into your mouth and devour your insides. It hurts. You want to scream, but there's only spiders in your lungs.

You are startled by this vision, but after checking your body for bite marks, you don't find anything. After fumbling in the darkness for a while, you notice the light of a torch and decide to follow it. You don't find any spiders.

You are on a circular room illuminated by torches and slightly flooded with stagnant water. The brick walls are eroded and damaged, and you notice there are some weapon racks to the sides of the room. The room has another entrance on the opposite side of the way you entered to the room. From that way, you can hear the sound of footsteps.

Tie my shoelaces and head back to cultist house

[3] - After a few tries, you manage to propely tie your shoelaces. But before you can head back to the house, the cultist stops you.

"Hey, rookie! Where do you think you're going? We have a job to do. C'mon, follow me."

After that, she helps Ryan stand up and guides her to the back of the chapel where the ghoul was guarding the underground entrance to the old sewers.

"Yeah, I should be able to stand. What's going on? Have the others found their way in yet?

Stand up and go with the cultist

[1] - You try standing up, but the pain from your leg makes you unable to stand up by yourself. The female cultist has to help you stand up and walk until the pain is gone.

When you get to the back of the chapel, you notice a large corpse on the ground, some human remains and no sight of either Mallo or Nathaniel.

"Damn. I told them to wait here! Those fools are going to get themselves killed."

Take a moment to look over the familiar-looking person and figure out who he is.

[5] - You focus really hard and remember. You recall this person being named Cyrus, he was one of the students back at the Miskatonic University and also studied Anthropology with you, though he looks more mature and thinner than before.

You quickly discard the possibility that this is pure coincidence. Someone must have been kidnapping the students of the university. But why?

listen and let the sounds tell me which path to take. The darkness may shroud my vision, but my hearing will aid me while the shadows protect.

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

((I'm really tired and still need 2 actions, so is it okay if I update tomorrow? I always have trouble updating on Tuesday and Thursday. Sorry, but having to calculate the mental stats of 6 players every time before and after every action, making stuff in advance to make the mission more interesting, researching on the Lovecraft Mythos, and updating character sheets... But I know it would be wrong for me to not update for my players without saying anything at all.))

You could use your talisman to attempt to brainwash/annoy the cops by infecting their minds with the yellow king's influence. Might be tricky though and it will probably piss people off majorly, like the cultist woman and mallo.
