Lilly frowned. "...Oh. I can... see why you're reacting like this then." How do you respond to someone dreaming of hunting humans? "...You probably don't want to talk about it, right? Normally people ask that in this situation but it sort of seems like a really stupid question right now..."

Scarlet puffed out her cheeks and slowly exhaled again as she pondered the question. "Not really. The shrink keeps saying to be more open with people, though, and who else am I supposed to talk to? Yeah, I'm gonna tell that guy that I had a dream about eating people and liking it, that'll definitely be good for my case." She shook her head slightly. "Could be worse, I guess."

Lilly nodded. "Yeah... probably wouldn't be the best idea..." Lilly said, rubbing her head. Although, she had no idea if there were like, audio-bugs in the room or something, so maybe talking wasn't the greatest idea either. "It's just a dream, though! Everyone has dreams where they do things they'd never do in real life! It could... definitely be worse." she continued, with an awkward smile.

"I guess," she repeated in response to Lilly. "It's just, you know, when you catch yourself eyeing up someone because you're hungry, and then this shit happens when you sleep. . . It makes me nervous." She didn't mention the remainder of why the dream unnerved her. Not information Lilly needed to worry about. The other girl had her own concerns. "I'm gonna be blunt, you don't exactly look like the picture of happiness either. What's up?"

Dom doesn't even look around when he enters the common room carrying a cigarette. He just excitedly speaks out loud.
"Idunna, look at what I learned to do!"

Idunna was... meditating? Probably. It was harder to tell with her since she didn't actually do the more famous kind. No sitting down on a mat in lotus position going Ohm. She didn't even close her eyes when she did it. This morning she was sitting in the armchair, legs folded sideways and hands in her lap, and just kind of looking into empty space with a tranquil expression. Smelling faintly of cinnamon - probably because of the french toast left in the pan on the stove.

When Dom bursts into the room, babbling excitedly, she blinks as if snapped out of a daydream and looks vaguely confused and slightly expectantly at him. "Sure."

Doms walks over at a pace that's on the cusp of being unacceptable for walking inside. He kneels in front of Idunna and puts the cigarette in his mouth. He takes a moment to make himself seem less excited before tilting his hat with with one finger, raising an eyebrow, and having the tip of the cigarette ignite. He waits for a moment for effect before putting out the cigarette, and holding his arms out in a Tadah kind of pose.

Dom didn't get the reaction he wanted. Rather, when he put the cigarette in his mouth she looked mildly put off. "Please don't light that." he lit it. When he finished his trick Idunna sat with one hand clamped over her nose with a frown. "You could just light a strip of paper or something, man."

Dom frowns.
"I guess, but it doesn't look as cool and I don't typically need pieces of paper lit on fire..."
He pauses as he thinks for a few seconds.
"I don't smoke either but I also didn't buy this. Figured I might as well use it to try that out."

Bernie, likely sitting on the couch nearby and resting from her usual combination of running early in the mroning and violin practice, looks irked.
"It also stinks up the room if you do that. Could you at least have given us a heads up?"

Idunna devoted the hand to waving away the smoke rather than pinch her nose. "Neat party trick though." she looked over to Bernie. "Hey, Bernie. Can I have a blessing? I wanna clear the air." She probably meant literally, right?

"Don't think blessings work that way."

[Mistwing]

"I know they don't. I need it for a rune." Idunna explained with a small smile.

"Um....okay?"
Bernie gazes over at Idunna a moment and.....that's that.

Idunna doesn't feel any particular difference, apart from the vague sense that Bernie is smiling upon her. Maybe.

[Mistwing]

She acted immediately. "Thanks!" And raised a hand, drawing a finger through the air. Something imperceptible seemingly flowing from her body - her head and hair especially - to her fingertip and leaving a soothing sky blue line in the air as she drew a figure rather like the letter P in the air. As soon as she finished, a cleansing wind blew through the room. But without the cold of a natural wind. It was closer to the slow, subtle flow of water than anything else. Except it was air. The smoke was blown away along with any other pollutants in the air, leaving the place strangely clean. "That is so much easier than finding a medium of 'joy' or 'affection'" Idunna snickered.
