So here's a possible tank design for when Toskesh eventually gets a revision voted on:
Future Design: NAF-AFW-51 "Hippo" Hexapod (willing to change the name, and ideas for other things to improve on/how to more specifically upgrade the legs would be nice)
The Armored Fighting Walker Hippo is practically what we've learned from the Paradigm applied to an improved version of the Thatcher.
It utilizes 6 legs and all-encompassing light armor. It's a bit bigger than the Thatcher, allowing for a more comfortable crewing experience (because we all know that's the ultimate goal in military engineering) and more ammo storage. Two mounts designed for weapons similar to the Wickers (though empty for now) are put into place - a coaxial mount in the armor next to the main cannon, and a pintle cupola on top of the main turret. The legs are largely the focus of the AFW, and are aimed to be very much refined over the prototype Paradigm. They're given thin armor and in addition to just generally being improved to operate faster, are given additional mechanical complexity to the point where the AFW-52 should be able to actually properly move in directions more similar to >2-legged animals compared to the more awkward "baby crawling" thing it does now.
And here's a design for a potential helicopter at some point in the future:
Future Design: NAF-UH-5x "Draft" (This is most likely barebones. I think it or another transport helicopter design should be done soon-ish, but we have higher priority things - like an actual tank - beforehand.)
The Utility Helicopter Draft is Nogrania's first helicopter, based off of existing helicopter designs from across the world. It uses a new turboshaft engine in order to provide sufficient reliable power for its operation. It has thin armor to allow it to land in hostile areas, though we recommend that pilots don't try to land it in enemy-infested areas.
In order to serve its purpose, it's a notably large helicopter - the biggest we can still carry with some degree of agility with a single turboshaft engine. It comes equipped with mountings for cargo and people. The Draft is completely unarmed, though there's the possibility for soldiers to shoot out of the flying helicopter. We plan on the Draft being used primarily to transport cargo [TU] amongst the landmass, with a secondary role of transporting troops and equipment for combat efforts.
EDIT: Fixed year of the Hippo, added Hexapod to its name, clarified the pictle mount to be a cupola on top the main turret, and added a coaxial mount. As per Kot's feedback. Also added clarification to the Draft's designation.
