Bare in mind that what we consider to be samadhi is going to be what pertains to samadhi from our perspective. What we need is samadhi as it pertains to the perspective of, well, not us... It is similar, but I am not certain that a textbook will tell us the correct answer.

It probably is quite nice, really. I mean, sure, probably in what could be loosely described as a predator-prey relationship with us, but so are lions and tigers and bears, and that worked out okay in The Jungle Book or Tarzan or what have you... We just need to establish that we are more fun to know than to eat, and remind it that the bleed-across mustn't exceed the tolerances of our metaphysic and then we can be the best of friends!
