But doesn't us not going back show even stronger willpower?
Yes, but we can't force the eyeball to obey us if we don't interact with it.

We already have two perfectly good eyeballs that do whatever we want. Well, they sort of act up a bit from time to time, I mean, sometimes you mistakenly think that you saw a useful bit of help documentation from Microsoft and need to just stare in disbelief for a few hours until you realise your error... Actually, perhaps we should avoid any contest of wills with eyeballs, we don't have the best track record with collaborating with such things...

If it were not for the fact that it is a PDF, I would suggest threatening it with a bottle of runny superglue.  Instead, just put a window over the top the area to cover that part of the document so we dont see the eye, then see what else is there on the page.

I love how the madness just kinda happened organically here.

Then put a Post-It on the monitor. Jeeze, do I have to think of everything?

The PDF and window are on the computer. As a physical object, the post-it *should* be immune to attempts by the eye to get past it.

I suspect that they may be imbued with the power to cause people to forget whatever is under them, too.

Also, can we get a LCD screen instead of the cathode ray tube monitor? Better for our eyes.

You really want to start conveying this stuff through less mass?

You could just take a picture, then send it to your friends.

You could just take an eyeball, then send it through its own lens.
That seems a bit premature, it hasn't even introduced itself yet.

It was in a physical object!  Now it is somehow in a PDF!  Don't go to that page please.
