You really aren't very good at tracking things; your hunting strategy up to this point has depended mostly upon blundering into things and then butchering them with brutal force.  You begin a new search but after three days of hunting you still cannot find any more of these homesteads.  Just as you are considering giving this up as a bad job (for the fifth time) you find yourself face to face with half a dozen bow-armed kobold hunters, who seem as surprised to see you as you are them.  Their bows are already part-way up to your face before you can react.

A) Their reaction to your presence offends you.  Kill them.
B) Kill all but one, whom you can interrogate.
C) Try to stop them with words.  If it fails, kill them.
D) Try to stop them with words.  If it fails, retreat.
E) Something else (that can be done as a snap decision)?

Your voice, deep and resonant, echoes across the space between the trees.  The kobolds freeze, not entirely by conscious choice, bows half-raised.

"Your weapons cannot harm me, your forms cannot withstand me.  My skin is iron, my claws are steel, my breath is destruction.  Your sacrifice would go unheard and all it would accomplish would be to bring my ire upon your spouses and children.  Surrender, if you have any hope of survival."

To a man, every kobold drops their bow and arrow and looks at you with wide, terrified eyes, as shocked by your ability to speak as your words and form.  Now what?

A)  Demand their fealty.
B)  Demand their worship.
C)  Request directions to their villages and homesteads.
D)  Request directions to their villages and homesteads, then kill them.
E)  Slaughter them now that they have submitted to you.  The flesh will be all the sweeter.
F)  Instruct them to take you to their leaders, so you may broker a more formal arrangement of vassalage/alliance.
