I like Military Reform and possibly even Codex of Succession on first reading, but I don't think either is the best idea in the middle of a war. We've named our heir, that's enough for the moment. Looks like cash flow was even year-over-year, and we're probably heading back into the field when the weather breaks, so let's not force our administrators to fix what isn't broken.

Last time it was excludent, or we used the fireblood on the main troop or in the cavalary I don't know now

Our active decrees are inside the spoiler, including Fireblood Infantry (in 1166). The descriptions haven't changed, it looks to me that while one group uses fireblood weapons the other cannot. Although . . . that cavalry decree has been sitting there ever since and there's never been any real push to try it so I guess I can't be certain. I am certain that if we get both, then it would be horribly expensive to buy that much fireblood ingredients.

More immediately, experience shows that during an army upgrade/refit we accrue combat roll penalties until it's fully enacted (at least one year, maybe two) so I question the worth of the experiment in the middle of a major war.

His army is thirty five thousand and five hundred strong, while your spies bring news that a total of fifteen thousand fresh soldiers are stationed between Damdamian borderlands and Rucus, no doubt the Senate of Damdamia is preparing another huge army to march against you.

Eldrican is ruled by our cultist of the damned cousin who hates our guts. We are not getting (Friendly) troops out of them.

B anyway. My hunch is that they intend to make some unreasonable demands to give them an excuse to cancel the trade deal and weaken us, or even join the war against us. Best we deal with that.
