You order an attack against the flanks!
6*
The Damdamians begin their bombardment from inside the forests at the flanks, but the fire is inaccurate, and ultimately, ineffective! Your soldiers swarm the hidden positions of the Damdamian defenders, putting great pressure on the flanks of the central columns.

This in turn allows the main force of your Army to strike the Danus' frontlines!
The melee that follows is even bloodier than the one during the previous battle, and corpses pile in the snow and mud in great numbers.
And just like before, the enemy is routed, and the Damdamian horns sound a retreat. This time it is more disorderly, the survivors of Methiantese wrath too afraid for their lives to follow commands of their officers it seems.
Scouts and agents bring you even greater news; apparently some saw Danus and his horse disappear during the melee, and as he was not spotted amongst retreating columns, many believe that he was slain during the melee. With him included, the dead of this battle would amount of over eight thousand, almost three-fourths of that on Damdamian side.
Your officers quickly inform you that they do not wish to pursue Damdamians. "Sire, victories are great but the pace and lack of care for our own casualties is showing," says one of them, "We need to rest and recuperate, as the two thousands of our sick and wounded will soon be dead and rotting instead!"
A) "No, we sail forth to crush the remainder of Danus soldiers in another, and final, battle!"
B) "No, we sail forth to liberate Eval from Damdamian invaders at once!"
C) "Agreed."
