If we get cursed by the dwarves, we'll ask the Elves for help. They might be good for that.
Frankly, considering the insultingly low reward they offered (and we accepted for some reason), I wouldn't be surprised if the elves turn out to be stingier than the dwarves, and demand some sort of payment for removing a curse.
:/
While I'm still giving the Elves a benefit of the doubt...I didn't notice it means "we'll trade just stuff for 300 soldiers or whatever and y'all hit this place", which probably means we're just a decoy in all this o_O
But honestly, I think this is something tied to something way back--I do recall the Elves attacked our allies as Luathbas (and wow, THEY get to talk with them or loot them while all we got is assassins nobody could even protect against :I)
But WE SHOULD GET ANOTHER LUCKY PERSON or have Luck as our highest priority :3
Y'know, if we die.
Also can't we just talk to those fellows and explain 'we're a traveling army off down south and not attacking Ankurvat'? ._.; [/desperation]
...I bet they've got tunnels, but let's find out.
BY'know, tunnels into human farmland because 'hey these guys OWE US [not because we just decided to hop in and market Luathbas' debts even more by our reasoning nope]'.
>_>
Dwarves be a really stingy folk. Let's hope these Elves do pay out in similar ways, but hopefully situationally better.
Also it seems we're going to use those cloaks in B for scouting and such, and the stones are...battle stuff.
