You decide to go into the battle without getting Dahnia involved.
Congratulations! Grand Duke Merachd embarks on his first military campaign!
During his absence, the court matters will be ran by his queen, Tasarina, and the loyal Advisor, to the best of their abilities.
958 AD, Mid-Spring
By the Mid-Spring, your Army is marching southwest. The few fortified city-states, all on their own, close their gates and dare not try to stop you just in case you decide to punish them or something.
After a week, you approach the lands surroudning Ankurvat. The few small human farming villages quickly empty as the loyal peasants run away to warn their dwarven contractors-slash-leaders of advancing army.
The mighty city-fortress of Ankurvat comes into the view; walls of shiny bronze-like stone reach up to forty feet, and the towers of the hexagonal design have large oval shaped dragon heads on top, all menacingly turned toward your Army.
Your scouts spot numerous dwarven and human soldiers stationed on the walls. Your commanders convene with you about how to proceed...
A) Time to construct some rolling towers and battering rams and prepare for all-out attack!
B) Surround the city with camps and starve the dwarves and their human subjects into submission!
C) Send a parley to the dwarves, offering them peace and cessation of hostilities in return for hefty tribute.
D) We will tun around and
run away tactically retreat from the vicinity of this fortified monstrosity of a settlement.
