It has been determined that Trump is an average unladen swallow travelling northbound at his maximum sustainable speed of -3 Obama-cubits per second in the middle of a class 3 hurricane.

"There is more to it than that." He seems to get excited.

"Alright, first and most importantly we are going to talk about safety. Never put your finger on the trigger unless you are sure that you want something dead. If I catch anyone with their finger on the trigger when not in combat, I will grab your weapon and beat you with it."

He demonstrates by keeping his finger extended above the trigger and across the frame.

"When holding the rifle you always want to have it pointed towards the ground away from the group. It inadvisable to point it towards the sky, because if you accidentally fire it will come back down and can fuck up someones day."

He digs the stock into his shoulder and assumes a proper firing stance.

"You want to firmly dig the stock into your shoulder. If you leave gap when you fire, your shoulder will not have a good day."

Titus continues going over other rules or techniques , such as muzzle safety, target acquisition, and how to fire accurately.

Avi shivers and stays away from the guns.

"Hey don't worry. They always seem scary the first time you see or hold one, Hell even the second or third, but you'll get used to it. It's just like using magic. Besides I'm not actually gonna hit you with them, I will yell at you though." He hold the rifle out to Avi. "I can can give you a more hands-on lesson if you want. Trust me, the feeling of the recoil is quite fun when you know how to manage it."

"Sure it is. Magic if unpracticed or undisciplined can be extremely dangerous. However with the proper techniques and training it becomes more safe and you have more control over what you are doing. If you fuck around people get hurt. Sounds similar enough."

"It's about a dozen times more reliable than uncataloged psionics. It Is nothing like them. Effects may be similar however."

"On an unrelated note, I see someone is proving an earlier point of mine."

"Magic requires you to know what you're doing before it works.  These guns just apparently point and shoot regardless of whether you know.

And what I do is not psionic in nature, judging by what you've said about it."

"So does a crossbow, Avi. And generally they don't shoot unless you pull the trigger, but in an infinite omniverse sometimes people get weird ideas about safety mechanisms or automation. Even then, usually fine if you just follow a bit of common sense. But alright, if you're not comfortable with these weapons and would rather rely on your own skills, that's fine." He looks around at the site of the massacre. "Hmm. We might also want to check those nifty tactical belts of theirs for goodies"

"Gross, but efficient."

Pillage belts for goodies, wake Jaden.

"If you must, go do it behind a rock at least."

"Gross, but efficient."

Pillage belts for goodies, wake Jaden.
The belts contain (as others in the group can best identify) some rather standard looking can-shaped frag grenades, magazines for the SMGs, J-shaped things that are presumably magazines for the strange rifles, and a handful of black, ridged capsules that glow orange from their centers.

Jaden's unconsciousness was only brief, but he seems rather shaken, unwilling to make eye contact and hugging his knees.
