It has been determined that Trump is an average unladen swallow travelling northbound at his maximum sustainable speed of -3 Obama-cubits per second in the middle of a class 3 hurricane.

"Though mere machinery is unreliable when dealing with magic. And of course, it is unwise to field automatons when dwarves are involved. If only our commander had known..."

"Titus, how long did this trench look from above?"
asked the Traveler as the group walked along.

"If your machines are unreliable when dealing with psionics then you didn't science the psions hard enough. Everything a psion can do is scientifically definable and designable. Machines are perfectly reliable. They do exactly what they are built to do. The only unreliable factor is the user."

Rajita slowly exits the Box, looking around.
"Wait, where are we?"

No stood up, finished with a round of essence-making.

"You do recall what I said last adventure? That I would mark your vessel with a tracking spell in the event that it got stolen off again? Well, I'm going to get to that now."

No begins concentrating aether and essences in his eyes, preparing to cast a spell on the outside of the not-TARDIS.

"300 Meters."

"...You know, I just realized the futility of explaining magic to the uninitiated."

"Guys, you come from different realities. Ergo, you have different bullshit."

No stood up, finished with a round of essence-making.

No begins concentrating aether and essences in his eyes, preparing to cast a spell on the outside of the not-TARDIS.

"Alright, good idea. Though I doubt she's going anywhere in her current condition."

"Oh! Idea!"

Espada plucks a feather from the top of their head, grabs a small stone from the ground, then climbs on top of the box and sets the feather down under the stone. "Now I'll be able to get an audio feed from this area, though I'd say the signal range won't be larger than 3 kilometers. Less if we go further below the ground line."

Rajita slowly exits the Box, looking around.
"Wait, where are we?"

"Oh, there you are! I was getting worried. I don't know how safe it will be inside the ship while it's healing. We're in what looks like a desolate wasteland, and by all indications, someone's calling for our help. Well, maybe not our help specifically but it's a fairly loud call."

"Good job, captain obvious.  Oi!  Traveller person dude!  Where are we exactly?  This thing have a map?"

"Avi, was it? No, we haven't got a map. At the moment all we have for scanning the area are our own skills and the tools on our persons."

"Titus, how long did this trench look from above?" asked the Traveler as the group walked along.
"300 Meters."

"Okay, that's not too bad. And it seems we have everyone out now. Let's move along." He starts down the Trench after Titus, who hasn't had the chance to get far amidst interruptions. "Life hack: always let the dude in power armor take point. Well, almost always."

No releases a curse of tracking onto the surface of the Box.

"Multiple safeguards equals additional security. Very good."

No smiles a little bit, then starts following the Traveler.
