The reflection isn't what we thought was odd...

The oddity is in his weird mouth edge, and his half-visible eye just being a twisted pit, and that his nose appears to be bent sideways and grown into the edge (look closely at the side of his nose and you'll see it's smoothly integrated into the face - looks like a normal nose side at first (and I'm guessing that's what the algorithm was going off of) but the end of the nose doesn't comport with that.)
