One more addition to the rules, to spice things up:

You can perform Multiple Independent Attacks in one turn, but your bonus dice are split between the actions (you still get 3 base), rounding down. You can't add more actions once you hit 0 bonus, but characters with 0 in a stat can still perform two actions relating to that stat.

Chained Attacks that are dependent on one another, do not take this limit into account. For example, charging at an enemy (Speed) and then punching the enemy after the initial strike (Strength) does not confer a penalty, because the latter action can only occur if the charge is successful. Note that running up to an enemy simply gives a -1 to the charge attack, it's not a separate speed roll. Rather, you charge and then use your Speed + Strength for the result.

Multiple Chained Attacks count as using a stat once for each chain that includes the stat.

Still waiting on some characters. It's a game with some serious backstory so I want to give people a chance to finish. Especially since I'm choosing regardless of who posted first.

I love the concept.

I like the living gun is it inspired by an anime?

Ah, "le anime ripped cat ears" must be a sophistocated rhetorical joke, for greater minds like yours.

Nah, these are totally lovingly ripped from a western animated cat.

Anime is dumb. :D

Never thought I'd read that on the internet. More power to you.

Caellath's character was discussed on IRC. Good entry.

Early Christmas party today, but final and other business are now done so we will start Friday. Hopefully Wunderkatze can get his character in by then.

Regarding the stats, your Strength will be added to your attacks just like any gun has a strength value. Your reflex will help with aiming but it won't boost the strength itself. But I can give each round a base strength given that you are a bit... limited. As a gun.

Do you intend to use Mage Hand to move around? Action/reaction dictates it can be done.
Are you an HMG or a huge sniper-type weapon?

Ha ha ha- reserved.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Those feats are not specific at all. You can't just get a blanket bonus to "using your powers."

The ghost is something I might play around with.

Hmm. I'll bring Speed down to -2 and Strength up to 3. Guns can't walk, after all. The reflex is just there because Machines think faster than humans.
Mage hand is just for moving things. It could be used to move, but that's most certainly not what it's made for.
I'm more like a HMG. Think assault rifle, just scaled way up.

Eh, functionally the HMG is the same as a sniper because you'll usually hit (and both tend to suppress humanoids), and I think the sniper option allows for cooler fight scenes. But it's up to you. My chief worry is that you'll just either be wielded or stand there shooting things rather than dynamically entering the fight, if you know what I mean.

I mean, I shoot .50 cal rounds, have advanced optics, and presumably have some sort of firing modes, so I could be used as a sniper just as well as a machinegun. :P
If you're concerned that I won't be capable of dynamic entry (without someone carrying me while they dynamically enter), then well, that's kind of the effect of playing as an immobile object, isn't it?

The problem is keeping the game fun. I don't know if it's fun to play as an immobile object. But hey, you could surprise me.
