IC thread posted. Sorry to everyone I skipped. I wanted a good mix of character types.

I'll post the statted sheets later on, along with a tree with basic abilities for each Clade.

I wanted to draw fan art. If people want to post some images of things that are similar to them so I can get a better idea that would help.

I'll draw and scan how Raioyris looks for you.

Can't say how good it will be :D

Also cool idea.

It would be an interesting tidbit to find out later on if the gun and spider were made about the same time by competing Aurogen companies, or the same one(or the same guy!)

Tomasque, questions are probably best asked over the OOC thread.

And sorry for not posting until now, but I'm taking a plane tonight and preparations have been hectic.

No problem.

To answer Tomasque's question:
Quote
What happens if my body is destroyed in the labyrinth? How easy is it to passes things and what can I posses?

Read the section on Ghosts.

Quote
Some Numina-like entities have a true sense of individuality, that is, they cannot transfer easily from hard drive to hard drive, or from Cybersphere to Cybersphere. These are called Ghosts. They are mostly the result of Puppets who abandoned their physical bodies for a presence in the Cybersphere, but there are some Numina who have been developed as Ghosts by the Aurogen. They can only inhabit one particular device or Cybersphere and cannot easily move, forcing them to essentially 'haunt' a particular place or object. Puppets are basically Ghosts haunting a motile body, thus nullifying the disadvantage of being locked into a local Cybersphere.

Ghosts are bound to where they were born, like actual ghosts. Since Pandora-cells can take on brain functions, a puppet can indeed multiply itself and such, perhaps creating a half-sized version of yourself, but this won't transfer your awareness, it'll just spawn a new one.

Pandora cells being what they are, you can infest a biological body to turn it into a copy of your current form, but unless there's a physical connection to transfer your brain you don't actually haunt it. You could send commands to the Pandora cells though using your own body to send radio signals, but the rule is that your reflexes are halved (-3) if you have to split your attention between two bodies, as you'd expect.

How exactly does the dungeon work in terms of difficulty, by the way? The floors closest to the surface have been looted of most valuables, so are they considered safe? Is there a buffer zone of sorts before the dangerous area start then another close to largely unexplored territory?

We do need to know where to set up shop, and I also want to know whether we can start making money even before hawking our wares by escorting people to buffer zones.

Oh, and this thread's title should probably gain "OOC" for ease of recognition.

Leaving for the airport and taking a trip. It'll take a while before I post again.

I'll answer this with the tidbits of knowledge our resident machinations start out with. There is a buffer zone of sorts, in which the monsters aren't quite looking to harm people per se, but there are navigational hazards (it is easy to get lost).

Do I happen to have any ammo yet?

Well, I was thinking of giving you the ability to upgrade normal ammo into your special types, at the cost of a small delay (meaning you go last in the combat round).
As for you having ammo, nobody on the team would have been carrying ammo (Gilles' gun is an autocannon, much bigger rounds than .50), but you could have easily purchased some in the village, so I'll give you as much as you want (money shouldn't be an issue for basic stuff like supplies)

For total group carrying capacity, we'll assume 50kg max carry weight for Strength 0, and the multipliers are:

Raioyris - 2 -> 1.6x
Millenus - 1 -> 1.25x
Foreman - 1 -> 1.25x
Wilbur's stats are 0 3 6 0 (understatted, so Roseheart you should add 1 point somewhere. Took out the negatives because otherwise you'd be WAY under) (he wouldn't subtract from carrying cap. anyway if he had -1's)
Gilles - 5 -> about 5x (Unless the power armor gives extra strength. I'm assuming it basically nullifies its own weight in terms of strength, so no difference in total capacity.)

So about 500kg carrying capacity total. But if you carry more than 25kg you'll probably have to drop extra stuff in combat.

And 250 rounds of .50 BMG is about 30 kg. Which is enough to fire for 30 seconds. You'll need a lot if you want to rapid-fire (a Heavy Attack), which would cost about 5kg of ammo each shot. For single shots I won't be tracking ammo because that would be a much more efficient use of ammunition. Your energy charge attack is also a heavy attack but it would apply a much worse Status if you miss the constitution test. So there's that.
This also means Caellath may want to bring extra ammo. 5kg per Heavy Attack.

I don't think I'll stress over other supplies like food/water for now, because Butter is quite lightweight (1kg = 7000 calories) and even though butter is not representative of all types of food, ammo is much heavier in terms of how much you'll use in a day.
I do want to make carrying capacity a factor, though, because it determines how much you can haul up and might cause some interesting situations where there's too much loot to carry so you might want to leave someone to guard the stash from, say, other adventurers.
