((Just to to be clear, are you planning on being the one lighting the fire?  Cause if so I'm gonna either sneak or fight my way past the vamps and have my guy shout to signal your character to blow the place up once I'm out.))

Head with Vincent, lighter in hand.

There is a crash as the Cullen coven breach the main lobby...

They follow the blood to the "meat locker" that Vincent had set up: rows and rows of nurses and patients are strung up and hung bleeding from the ceiling. Carlisle was the guiding light and Sheppard of their humanity. Now all they feel is a desperate anger. Light quickly recedes beyond their reach. The darkness is too deep, too pervasive. The hunger cannot be denied. Sin must be fed. The beast consumes their last facades of self-control and sanity. And they frenzy, tearing into the still squirming victims, gouging and splattering the gore. Not entirely out of need, but for lust, for passion, for blood. Blood for its own sake.

Vincent dashes down the dark corridors as fast as he can without slipping on the petrol and blood everywhere. He runs to the slaughterhouse of a corridor, now almost stopping to admire his work. The intestines do cascade from each carcass nicely.

Once past the room of blood, he stops a moment to see the vampires' reaction, pulling his glock. He keeps moving, grabbing Carlisle's head by the hair on the way. Vincent is only able to hope that they frenzy and stay put. He makes for the nearest exit, runs the minimum distance that he believes may be safe, and fires back into the building.

((Good idea.  On your six.))

Head with Vincent, lighter in hand.

Vincent and Joe grab Carlisle's head and scramble for the back door. They shuffle through corridors in partial darkness groping their way for an exit through pure instinct.

Carlisle's head seems to stare back at you.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Matthew Heads back inside and try's to find his comrades. He readies his Glock in case he runs into a vampire.

Matthew clambers in through one of the side doors and wanders through the corridors, readying his weapon to deal with any vampires.

Vincent is terrified. He has seen combat before but never against an enemy who is litterally inhuman. Seeing the vampires he is not sure the drugs will do a lot now they are ferenzied, but hopefully Vincent has bought some time. He keeps his glock out as they move. The second he or Joe is attacked, he will pull the trigger and the place will go up. Even if they are still inside. Vincent knows he is very probably facing death but his (natural) adrenalin is keeping him focused on finding the exit

Can our heroes escape the dark hospital before the vampires eat them?

Extended rolling test! Rolling their wits + survival to navigate... They need 5 successes to make it out. Difficulty 8 for groping in the dark.

Joe and Vincent roll 2 and 5 dice, but score only 1 success.

Matthew rolls a critical failure. He moves deeper into the hospital... before him, he sees ravenous red eyes and fangs in the dark.

Vincent and Joe make marginal progress.

Vincent takes out one of the nurse deck phones, using the screen to try and add a little light to the corridor, hopefully speeding their progress. The light is not much, however

How many sets of eyes and fangs?

You only see 1 set so far.

Shoot the vampire right between the eyes. Several times.

*cough* petrol fumes *cough*

This doesn't have much effect on the darkness either.

Shoot the vampire right between the eyes. Several times.

Your target almost casually dodges your first shot. But the petrol covered wall behind it can't get out of the way in time. Sparks from the ricochet ignite the fuel and flames spread rapidly across the floor like sprawling fingers.

In 60 seconds, or 2 turns, the fire will reach the oxygen tank and turn the place into a thermobaric bomb.

Vincent and Joe shamble for the exits, but make only 1 progress again.
