Epilogue:
Joe and Vincent ride off into the sunset with a new shiny car and a vampire head as a trophy.
The Feds get their grubby hands on Janeway and Trump. The PATRIOT Act is invoked, and they are detained indefinitely and shuffled off to a high-security spook detention facility somewhere.
The Cullens are wiped out, but Renesme and Jacob get to live happily ever after without adult supervision.
Politically, things are more sinister: The removal of the Cullens has shifted the power balance that was keeping Vampire Princes in the neighbouring cities in check. Their wars have escalated, and the werewolves around the Washington State find themselves outnumbered and powerless to stop them.
In all, The Cheiron Group considers this a successful mission. All they want is dead vampires, and research specimens.
You are awarded a basic mission bonus of $2000 per survivor. Then there is a bounty of $16,000 for the deaths of 8 vampires (which applies only to this mission), and an additional $5000 for the vampire head specimen. You also get to keep the armored Mercedes. But there's a $3000 deduction for losing the Company Truck. In total, you get $11,000 each.
XP awards are 1 basic point, +2 for "victory", +2 for killing vampires, +2 for causing so much collatoral damage that it doesn't matter any more. +2 for teamwork (and élan). Joe and Vincent get 9 xp points each.
Joe's sins are: Shooting a man when he's down, being an accomplice to arson, and murder of a wounded captive.
Joe is awarded the Overkill derangement. - He cannot regain willpower and will experience nightmares unless any monster he encounters is "sufficiently destroyed" to his satisfaction.
Vincent's sins are: Shooting a man when he's down, taking a child hostage, masterminding a plot to destroy a hospital, going full Columbine Highschool on said hospital, mutilation of live victims, and Grand Theft Auto.
Vincent is awarded the Sadism derangement. - He must make a composure + resolve roll every time he wants to avoid tormenting a monster or a person when he has the opportunity. He also derives pleasure from other beings' physical and emotional pain, and will recover willpower whenever he witnesses suffering.
Your willpower pools also refill by 2 points for a successful mission.
Your spare points from character creation are also dumped into the free xp pool.
