This time, however, instead of glowing cherry red, the arrowtip glows a metallic grey and seems to become even more razor-sharp than such an arrow could ever be made naturally. As the arrow is loosed, the arrow seems to increase in density, becoming heavier. An observer with keen enough eyes to see it would recognise that the arrow had been morphed for armor penetration. It strikes the steel plate in the exact same spot the last arrow did, the same area which had been weakened by the HEAT arrow.

Anyway, coffee is good. Mmm. Sipping the drink, he thinks back to yesterday, wondering about the day. Hm. The day right before that, he arrived at this level, and slept most the day. Yesterday, briefing. Lots of it. Got told about the Elves, how they ran themselves in a Communism. Geez. He grew up in a huge socialist state, and that was horrible. Those Treehuggers must really got it bad. Was he here before, or after that scaly goblin? Wait, kobold, thats what they're called, yeah. Skittery lookin' bastard.
Never got a chance to look, but let's see what's in the fridge now.

Taking another scorching sip, the man heads over to the fridge, and opens it up, seeing what hidden treasures this may contain.

Mostly more drinks. Food comes in nutrients bar that you put in a bowl and add hot water to make yummy chunky thick stew. There's ones that you can just eat in bar form, of course. Akras makes really good bars, just because they can afford it and doesn't need to cut corners.

While anywhere else you'd get sewage fat and bug flour, Akras gives you bars made from real lab meat and plants matter!

Vahn gets his medication and was led back to the room, he sees Dahn looking in the fridge.

"Hi there, are you the new guys? My name's Amadou, I'm leading the AGT 47.

You're a Kobold, right? First time I see a scaled one. I see here on your file you're good with traps... That's a good thing, if we can take out the enemies without taking chances. Just make sure you let everyone know where they are. Did you learn how to use the helmet to send pictures?

And you, haven't we met before? Hmm, heavy weapons, explosives, we were missing those in our team.

Ratodx leans away some as the grenade goes off. "Boss used one of those to try to deal with the Goat. He kind of underhand pitched it so it rolled on the ground towards it. I'd show you, but this boss," he gestures at the explosives instructor, "said not to drop it." Ratodx then measures himself, twists the cannister, pulls the pin, and lobs the grenade towards the printed pigs. "Remember that little things can cause big problems. Wouldn't be here if that wasn't the case."

Having thrown his grenade, Ratodx has a question or two for the explosives instructor, continuing to talk through the explosion. "You called these 'smart' grenades. What makes them smart? Why does it think that what I throw it at is closer than I am when I throw it? Boss threw a grenade along the ground at the Goat that had escaped and caused the lock down yesterday. Could he have done that with one of these smart grenades or did he have a dumb grenade? Are there average intelligence grenades, or was that a dumb question?"
