The Anansi have learned of the Chaos Slaughterers and how to enchant lenses to render them visible and have learned of blast furnaces. Some Anansi with skins of experimental alloys have begun traveling down to the next highest layer.
The Terminae necromancers have learned of a soul-sight spell for observing living and dead souls. Rumors indicate that it slowly causes blindness. The Terminae metallurgists have been introduced to Damascus steel and have begun searching for ores with appropriate impurities that generate the intricate patterns.
Landria has also created Well-Flowers, whose flowers are large wells of nectar, Flutter-Moths, large moths which generate fragrant silk, Skitterers, large, tough centipedes, and Utter-Bats, large, fierce, and omnivorous bats that produce excellent guano and may be useful as mounts if tamed. Out on the surface, on the higher layers of the mountain, Landria has also created Air-Ferns, which concentrate light gases throughout their structure to resist the high gravity. Katzerie has stolen one Flutter-Moth away and begun changing it, making it noticeably larger and more unsettling.
Landria has also introduced windmills and watermills to the Ishim and the power of a spontaneous musical number. Landria has had a little success in getting the feline races to practice hygiene, shown the Zwerge the tectonic marvels of the pipe organ, and introduced paper to the Maissi. Mumuski happily listens to the pipe organ music.
Landria has also created Shimmerhands, which are noticeably very similar to the Shimmermen. ((Landria: -4E) They have been introduced to steel making.
Xislo has distributed monoliths throughout the mountain with various magical secrets, with the more valuable ones located further away from civilization. Those near the Terminae focus on ritualism and necromancy.
Gandtrael has introduced windmills, watermills, and improved architecture to the Gandtraelites. They have also been introduced to a writing system so as to avoid potentially damaging telepathy. Gandtrael has also created the Headless hounds (Gandtrael: -1E), Gurglers, Visiontrees, and Brainbats. Gandtrael has instructed that the Gandtrael honor and respect the Visiontrees and provided a plan for domesticating the aforementioned animals. Finally, Gandtrael has introduced metal working to the Gandtraelites.
Wstfgl has made another flower, sleepbreath. Wstfgl has also created dreamcatchers, which simply record dreams and a half unit of dream-feeders. (Wstfgl: -1-2E) There seem not to be significant prayers at this time.
Corpus has given an unnamed artifact axe that gives the user strength and radiates fear to the beastmen. (Corpus: -1E)
Frami has poured 2E into attempting to evolve the beastmen toward greater intelligence and wisdom while reducing their bloodlust and giving them omnivory which Ovorr has presumably opposed. (Frami: -2E) Sadiq has shown some interest in allowing the few enlightened beastmen into Jannah; the less enlightened ones are to be allowed in as slaves.
Gandtrael has introduced tentacle collars and capes to the Grandtrael.
On Fortuna's suggestion, groups of Fhortan have begun wandering the world as part of a pilgrimage involving visiting distant gambling houses. Most of them are descending from 5G. Fortuna has also wandered the worlds, performing random tricks to remind the people of Luck.
Gandtrael has released another codex of races.
Sadiq has gone on a grand tour of the world, giving gifts to friends. They have continued the chain, giving gifts to their non-Sadiq friends, resulting in messy houses. This event is known to some as the friend-mess.
Katzerie has created the first Dagomoth.
