"I do not have a terribly powerful repertoire, simply an ice beam and a water beam -- in combat, I also rely upon physical ability, so for that and other reasons I have not put much focus into developing these spells the last couple of years... though I intend to change that this year."

"Personally I prefer to fight with spells from a distance, and only use my physical abilities as a last resort. I haven't had much of a chance to learn spells in the past few years however, so I plan on learning some new spells this year."

"I don't learn spells. I learned to use magic the same way I learned to fight. I got the motion down, so the only real articulate part of it is deciding what I'm going to do, and the rest is just me exerting the force of my mind; I know the "motions" of the magic as a skill, rather than as a fact. If you don't know what I mean, think of how people like Nobunaga over there learn magic the way one would learn math, and I learn magic the way one would learn parkour."

"I should mention that it's usually a good bit less mathematical and more intuitive than this; I just happen to want an effect that is quite specific and complex."

"My powers were born fro mthe desires deep in my "Heart", so i have gained Ferrokinesis and the ability to create "Fuel" that is not biological food.  I can use it rudimentary in my current form."

"Well, I don't learn spells in the traditional sense of how you would learn math, but that's the easiest way to explain it without boring everyone to death."

"It is largely intuitive for me as well, except that I have to edit spells until they fit certain criteria and rules before I can master them."

"I actually do something rather similar, except when I 'learn' a new spell I'm actually learning new ways to 'build' spells. Some of the more advanced people I've seen can edit spells on the fly, so that they have a basic template that they change to fit the circumstances."

"As far as I can tell, we are waiting for that sign (which as you can see is currently flipping a sh*t) to count down. However, some uncertainty has arisen, which is why I am currently wearing homemade leather armor."
