I don't think a world tree fits with the setting lore. Ask Projeck or something, they're in charge of it, but I don't see why you're not just doing as the GMs ask.

Maybe it does. I mean, I more or less ripped off Greek and Japanese myth and culture for the Duchy of Edo, so I don't see why a Norse mythological object, in the Frostfell Wastes of all places wouldn't fit.

Since apparently I'm paying out the nose in material levels for something I thought was flavor, can I get a couple rituals to go with the ritual knife?  And/or an equivalent to extra holy damage.

I'm aware of being able to take perks and equivalent flaws, but I can't think of any that make sense with he character. If anyone has suggestions I'm open to them.

Paying out the.... Uh... Shade, Want to handle this one?  Also, It'd be more likely to deal nature damage than Holy damage, you know, cause the tree and all

There is. As is, Ritual knife is fine. even if he did have Rituals for it, they would only work about 25% of the time due to psuedo Magic. Also, The Nature damage was a joke. It's not going to have any magical damage other than physical.
