Nobody wanted spacial/portal/teleport magic. That's fine, but consider hiring a lesser space mage if you ever want to return home.
A 2-point space mage will be able to eventually be able to figure out and build a teleport beacon, (possibly even before the epilogue,) assuming he lives.
A 6-point space mage should be able to build one in 3 or 4 months, allowing you to trade or hire more people.

Current colony assets:
16 laborers, 10 convicts, 8 soldiers, 5 craftsmen, 3 leaders.
200 food, 100 construction materials.
34 total unspent points

The city of Tidesnap - Angry merchants snag every possible bronze piece from anyone unfortunate to look at them. A bustling slave market. Lawmen shakedown a foreign trader for 'inspection fees,' while ignoring other traders entering the city. That's in the good part. The bad part is a sprawling slum best spoken of in hushed whispers, if at all.

The six of you stand in a walled courtyard. Guards in the gold-and-silver armor of the magehunters surround you. A hideously obese man in official blue robes approaches, glaring at you.

"You have been convicted of heinous crimes indeed, heh. By my - YOU WILL BE SILENT. By my authority, YOU will be sent to die on world CW-13."

One of the guards, looking concerned, has jogged up and handed him a piece of paper. He glances at it, then throws it to the ground and stomps it. He backhands the guard.

His left hand is pointing a glowing red ring at you, preventing you from speaking.

"You look like you object, heh. Now, you could make me mad by trying to appeal to the emperor himself, or .." He grins cruelly. "Well, CW-13 has very valuable resources indeed. You might live long enough to get in my good graces, heh. You leave in one day, heh."

He turns and waddles off.

You will be restrained in the building, under guard at all times. Your purchases will be made through messengers.

Discuss amongst yourselves what you'll buy, make a plan together, or just all buy your own things. Any unspent points will be gone forever.

The destination is not yet set in stone, if you have more suggestions.

((You have two points worth of money. A point is worth an undefined amount of money, somewhere between the cost of building 50 decently comfortable two-person houses from stone and the cost of feeding 50 average peasants for a month.))

((Boy, that is a lot of candy, I'm definitely curious))

"Well met, I suggest our collective resources be spent on Defense, and Information, since farming should be a simple task with both of these."

I vote to spend a point getting detailed information on the land, such as caves, tunnels, mountains, rock formations, Planes, Desers, anything crucial.

I also vote 4 points be spent on Shovels, Picks, Drills, just mining equipment in general for 1 point, 1 point of Sawdust in bales, 1 point of Water and 1 Point on Some sort of Magic Ice Liquid or powder.  for the production of evercold pykrete housing and walls.

Jakthur recalls a tome that they once heard of that sounded just perfect for someone in their situation: Telekinesis for the Underhanded. They promptly seek out a messenger and, in a high-pitched voice with great strain and volume placed upon the emphasis and an awkward(though likely uninterpreted) expression upon their face, request that they seek a copy and report upon the cost that would be involved in acquiring it.

Vote (1) for the Urist scale!
I shall be eternally happy. I shall be able to construct elf hunting giant mecha. Which can pour magma.
Urist has been forced to use a friend as fertilizer lately.

((You already spent all your points on slime skills. Only FallacyofUrist(17) and RAM(15) have points left now. They may either buy what they want or share.))

Buy some candy and something that conducts electricity very well use my two points for that
((You get a 50 month supply of candy for 1 point. Fun times are ahead!))

I vote to spend a point getting detailed information on the land, such as caves, tunnels, mountains, rock formations, Planes, Desers, anything crucial.
The transportation is extremely inaccurate, and nobody has spent enough time there to make maps.

((Tools come standard. Upgrading people to be more skilled doubles their costs.))

{?} - The messenger returns, saying he found a copy in good condition. It would cost [1 point].

Aight, in that case, I make sure to create a book of Slime strategies to improve my management of them when the time comes.

I now vote that we obtain More building material, 2XMore food, upgrade half our CONVICTS for discipline and loyalty, Upgrade 1 convict and 1 leader Twice, Buy 1 more Leader, 2 More Craftsmen and 3 more laborers,  and a Single Oversized suit of armor, if all of these are possible.  Between the 6 of us, a single grossly oversized suit of armor will come in handy.
