Hoist my Man-Club high in the air, and begin playing Whack-a-Human, smashing my other foes with their own friend

Your glorious mental leitmotiv is interrupted by some sort of mind control dweebery! UNFORGIVABLE.

Break this incovenient mind control effect with the pure might of random expletives, THEN use your fully empowered fear aura on anything in the vicinity, then you can run away like some wide hipped girl skeleton.

As you struggle against the mind-control, a sudden memory emerges into your mind. A man, an old man. He stares at you with severe but gentle eyes, and says "Dahak, get up. We are close."
You don't know why, but this vision feels you with strength. Damnit them all to hell ! You personally met death one time and you are not going to meet her again !

You break free of the Mind Control !

Then your mind yours and yours alone, you focus and expand all your remaining mana to magnify your Fear Aura.

"HA ! TAKE THIS !" you shout.

The magnified Fear Aura expands in a huge perimeter, affecting the humans, the Corruptor and the flying demon.

The weakened and mind-controlled humans suddenly freeze instinctively because of the fear, despite the mind-control.
On the Corruptor side, as soon as it begins to feel the alien feeling of fear, it fidgets wildly. But this time, it manages to shake off this horrible feeling, but drop its guard in the process.
Ulkas suddenly feels intense fear. The feeling he swore to never feel again, the feeling that made him feels so weak in that moment. The twisted smile of the Demoness flashes in Ulkas mind, and he begins losing himself to the fear.

[4] Then Dahak takes advantage of his successful Fear Aura, and makes a run for it. He manages to get out far from the accursed village, finally safe.

Appearance: An empty suit of armor animated by a tainted soul. It has a twisted, black charred look. The spirit's possession of the armor shows itself by a mild red glow coming out of the armor. The glow is much stronger in the helmet, where the eyes would be. It has a strange fleshy growth covering his left arm ending in a large, savage-looking blade made of bone that replaces the hand and forearm. On the left pauldron a big, yellow eye twitches erratically.

A bright white plane. The white soundless nothing.

Voices echo from somewhere, calling out to you. You can't answer them, you can't open your eyes.
"Please stop calling me. Let me finally rest. I'm so tired" you think.

Then a familiar voice.
"Ferratus. Open your eyes. Live again for the both of us."

"...Kardassus ? Where are you, why are you saying this ?"

You suddenly open your eyes. The bright blue sky and its fluffy clouds. The sound of the wind, the heat of the sun.

"I...am not dead ?" you say. Your voice is calm, back to its original tone.

"What happened ?"

You hold your head into your hands. Wait. Kardassus ! My friend, where are you !

No answers. You can't feel him. His memories are still here in you, but you can't feel his presence anymore. Then suddenly, unseen memories flow into your mind.

You see a knight with a face filled with hate. He is impaling you. Ah, that's right, that's how I died.
But the memory continues. Your soul begin dispersing out of the armor, dying. You were screaming horribly, with a dark and mad voice. And then you heard Kardassus voice coming from you.

Sorry Ferratus. You will hate me for this, but I owe you one. Thank you, thank you for everything... This short time spent with you made me feel alive again... My friend.

And then the memory stops. You understand everything. You begin sobbing uncontrollably, you feel imaginary tears running down your imaginary face.

"Kardassus... You fucking idiot. YOU FUCKING IDIOT !" you shouts with a voice filled with sadness and anger.

"AAAARH ! SHIT ! DAMNIT DAMNIT DAMNIT !" you punch against the ground, creating a big hole.

"Why ! Why did you have to sacrifice your soul to take my place !..." you sob, you can't speak anymore.

That's right. At the verge of your death, Kardassus took your place when the Armor cohesion dissolved. He managed to keep you alive and bound to the armor. He saved you. But he is not here anymore, you will never be able to thank him for that.

Ferratus cries all the sadness of its soul, alone in the wilderness.

The three monsters are thrown to the ground with force, and you yourself are projected backward with the same force !

You hear something moving and sound of wood "moving". You raise your eye, and see you landed right next to the Sylv Guardian.
Its head-vines assemble to form a long head ending in a golden glow. It "stares" at you, stands up but don't seem to attack you.

As soon as I recover from unconsciousness, take stock of my current situation. Did my kin survive unharmed?

You eventually regain consciousness. When you come to your senses, the monster is nowhere to be seen and you are at a whole different place.

The Guard comes at you.
"You are a hero, Stormslayer. This is how the Hive is calling you now."

You ask where you are and if everyone is safe.
"We are in safety, we dug a temporary tunnel to rest. The meat of the monster was already consumed, we just need a break for now. The destination is still a bit farther away."
 

Snehk the Stalker

"Good Snehk. A pleasure to meet you." he answers politely.

You then follow him to his lair, and eventually arrive there after a small walk. It's a huge cavern underneath a massive tree. Roots are coming out of the ceiling, and the walls themselves are roots.

"This is my home, make yourself at home. Sorry though, I don't have anything to offer you" he apologizes.

Darakion seems to be an actually pretty decent guy. It's a bit unsettling.

"What, lost your tongue ? Don't feel tense, I'm not gonna eat you. I meant it when I said you were my guest, let's discuss a little bit. What is your reason of traveling through these woods ? You are clearly a monster from the East."

The Clay Fruit tastes just like a ball of dirt, but its juices hold a fairly potent healing magic within.

Appearance: A large cyan amorphous creature with the unique ability to mould itself into different shapes. Some parts of its body are brown colored. It levitates gently above the ground, and the air around him crackles with potential. He can adeptly focus magical energy and cast Earth-based magic.

Earth Elemental: The being is aligned with the Earth element. It can absorb the elemental energy of earth-aligned crystals to supply its mana, and also cast Earth based magic.
Transformative: The Mana Amorphoid can take on whatever shape it pleases (Although it will always be the same size). During the transformation phase, its outer layer becomes gelid like a slime's. But when the transformation is complete, it once again crystallizes. (- Constitution while transforming)

Skills :
Transfer Mana: Can release small parts of its inner energy, transferring this energy to its allies. It can also attempt to overload the systems of another mana-using enemy.
Focus mana: The shardling can now manipulate the condensed mana it is made of, breaking down itself if it needs more mana, and using extra mana in the environment to build itself back up.
Mana Spark : You can turn mana into a unstable and damaging electricity current.
Mana Shove : Uses magical energy to push a being around. The push can be very weak or very strong. Pushing an enemy into an inanimate object would obviously cause damage.
Elemental Crystal Resonance : allow you to manipulate elemental crystals state to make them detonate, or prevent them from detonating.
Mana Disruptive Wave: The Mana Amorphoid can now release a large wave of mana which disrupts all mana-using beings in the area. Human mages will be temporarily unable to use mana, and mana crystals underground will probably explode.

Species: Aradian Mirage Beetle Hero -stage 2-
Appearance: A large shimmering insect with orange and green colored chitin with intricate patterns. It has small rudimentary wings used for Mindwiping and communication rather than actual flight.

Traits :
Hive minded: can control other creatures after performing Mindwipe. Resistance to enemy control is rolled against INT instead of IND for the queen.

Out of Hive Learning: can gain new skills and learn magic from other willing creatures. Abilities gained this way are only three fourths as effective if the species is different.

Skills :
Mindwipe: Can "Indoctrinate" targets into a Hive mind,but only one at a time. Target must be captured before Mindwipe may be used.
Distort: disorients and confuses a target, making them more vulnerable to mindwiping, but also making them act erratically.
Adrenaline Rush : this near-death experience gave you a new skill. When your HP falls at critical levels, you get an extreme boost of power as you feel death closing in.

Appearance: Dahak now sports a slightly elongated upper skull, with a second pair of baleful eye sockets above his other ones. His shoulders, arm and hand bones have grown thicker and elongated. He seems a bit taller overall, and his entire self seems surrounded in a smoky aura of sorts. His teeth are now both longer and sharper, for whatever reason. He's certainly spookier then before. He also seems to have gained new memories.
He has a badass worn out cape and a scabbard with a holy dagger.

Fear aura : You naturally generate a fear aura, generating fear in the beings around you. You can turn it off, or expand mana to strengthen it.

Skills :
Spook: Causes fear, may paralyze enemies. Doesn't work on mindless creatures.
Feel the Fear : you can convert the fear of your victims into physical pain. Extreme fear will probably cause cardiac arrest.

Appearance: The Stalker are lesser demons the size of a man that use infravision to detect their prey. They are gray skinned humanoids with sunken eyes and long claws. It's eyes have an eerie red glow.

Whispers of damned: Target hears horrifying whispers coming from all directions. This easily disorientates and scares it.
