KJP has said in the past that dual sphere abilities are weaker than those of single-spheres.
So they only give 95% discounts or what?
In other news, I finally finished up a few races I'm gonna make. The first one took a surprisingly long time to make (and I still need to give it more positive traits), the second one less but still quite a bit, and the last I finished in about a couple of minutes.
Name: Dwarves
Tier:
Darkvision (1pt), Extremophile+1 (1pt), Strength+2 (2pt), Spirit+2 (2pt), Vigor+2 (2pt), Smarts+2 (2pt), Mining+1 (1pt), Craftsmanship+2 (2pt), Protection+1 (1pt)

Major Hindrances: Code of Honour (-2pt), Vengeful (-2pt) Vow-2(the Dwarven race, Oaths, Eid) (-2pt)
Description: Dwarves are sturdy and strong, brilliant craftsmen and excellent warriors but above all they prize themselves on their loyalty to each other and to those they are indebted to. Dwarves hold grudges like no other, vengefully hunting down those who have wronged them to exact their toll, whether in blood or gold. The average Dwarf can live for about 200 years.

Major Hindrances: Fruitful-2 (-2pt)
Description: Elves are gifted with the touch of magic and made wise through their many years of living. They are usually seen as being arrogant, aloof, and overly concerned with beauty and art, a reputation which is not completely unfounded. They generally view themselves as being superior to other races. The average Elf can live for about 400 years.
Name: Humans
Tier: 0

Minor Hindrance: Vow(Eid) (-1pt)

Sphere
abilities. As in, the thing that KJP PMed you and said was your sphere ability.
1. Already taken. Reposting!
Elves
These creatures are often bestial, both in nature and appearance. Their head resembles that of a dog, with as much variety as their are dog breed. Inside each of their mouth is large sharp teeth, hiding a massive forked tongue that extends several feet outwards. It is completely prehensile, and used like an arm is used in other races. Its head is connected to the body by a short, solid neck. The body is a quadruped, with four sturdy legs placed where you would expect them to be. Its main body resembles something of a great cat, with the back legs fitting the expected look. Its front arms are more ape-like, massive columns of muscle covered in a thick layer of hair and ending in normal clawed paws. It has a tail much like its tongue, long and forked with the ability to grab things like a hand would, though it is covered in a layer of hair suitable to the body. They have a certain kinship with animals, often domesticating and Training them for a variety of complex tasks.
Tier 4
(Extra Foot*2)(Claws/Shortswords)(Tracking+1)(Strength+2)(Animal Training+1?)
Dwarves
Perhaps the most noticeable feature of the Dwarves is their legs, two tall limbs shaped like a spring. The reason this is their most notable feature is that they are used to near-constantly bounce. Any opportunity afforded to them they are in motion, from hopping up and down in the course of normal conversations to bouncing their way across towns to pouncing at enemies. The only time you could catch a still dwarf is when they are sleeping, or when absolutely necessary (such as when planning an ambush). Naturally, the springs are muscles under constant Training, often making them more powerful than even the natural strength imbued in them. Connected to the legs is the torso, which is almost brick-shapped. It also acts as the head, with three raindrop-shaped gems placed in a circle acting as its eyes. The circle itself acts as a mouth, food is placed inside it and simply moves inward with no visible opening. Its arms are springs much like their legs, and almost as active, though they are much thinner in diameter. Seven fingers are at the end of each arm, constructed of tightly-coiled springs that rarely seem to bounce. The flesh of the Dwarves is often mistaken for metal, appearing shiny and in metallic colors from cobalt-blue to bronze to shiny silver. This is incorrect, they are flesh and blood like normal creatures despite their appearance.
Tier 4
(Dodge)(Defense+3*)(Martial Arts)
[Does this require Defense+2? It doesn't seem to say anywhere])
So if ya try to steal my name, I'll haveta kill'emall.
2. You made up a lot of traits. Protection+1 doesn't exist, nor does Fruitful.
3. If the mechanics don't make you regret giving
every race you make a vow to you, I certainly will
. It is a hindrance, not a benefit. You should remember that.
Anti-Generic Humans plan initiated.
*High fives* Nicely done. Just in the nick of time too! That one Andres had plan didn't even have a proper skill or edge...
* Meow cackles~
Shoo! *waves away* We can't have you taking over this thread like what happened in Litany!
Anti-Generic Humans plan initiated.
O_O W-what?
Not anti generic humans plan, more like Trololo screw you guys who want some classics plan, besides if everyone is special then no one is.
'Classics' are overdone and boring. We had them on every other game, it is time for some change. What do you even mean by "If everyone is special than no one is"? It seems completely random. Are you saying that if everyone puts effort into creative, innovative, and not-completely-derivative works then somehow everything becomes derivative? Because that isn't how anything works. I really can't wrap my head around that statement.
Base: Greater Ęthereal.
Level: Veteran.
Attributes: d6 Agility, d4 Strength, d6 Smarts, d4 Spirit, d6 Vigor
Skills: d12 Spellcasting
((I think this is correct. d6 agility because Greater Ęthereals have the [Attribute+2 (agility)] tag.))
Fluff:
Protorum, The First, is the first (obviously) and greatest ęthereal. It is his job to keep all the other ęthereals, especially the greater ęthereals, in check. He is to prevent the ęthereals from interfering too much with other entities. All complaints about the ęthereals' behavior are to be forwarded to him.
It seems that I can't figure out the agent creation rules.
I tried to help you out last time, look below your first post from my comments.
Nitpick: Dog's are all the same species, since they can interbreed. I believe you meant breeds of dog (of which there are over 400 recognized pure breeds from a quick wikisearch.)
:$ Yeah, I usually don't make that mistake. Either that or I had actually meant "There is no variety"
. Correcting in the repost.
