I'm not sure if I wrote this somewhere yet (probably not), but, for example (using skills), Driving (Sailboats) would definitely be better for driving sailboats than just Driving. Of course, for the specific case of Arcane Background, I'm willing to allow free specializing edits (e.g. Arcane Background -> Arcane Background (Sable's thaumics) for creations made before a preferred magic system.

I asked this question before and KJP said that it would be fluff only. They wouldn't be able to use magic but it doesn't count as a -1 trait.

It also would be acceptable from an in-character point of view. Why wouldn't the old gods want to bring their old universe?
