Right, lets get this started. Can you guys just forget your first characters? They were pretty bad, I think.
IcyTea and Nunzillor are on the Western side of a huge circular canyon, steepening and stretching up into the sky like a huge bowl, with a shallow centre a mile in diameter, McTaalik and Gentlefish on the East. The North of the canyon is covered in woodlands, the South in rich green fields. A giant outcrop of rock just out over the forest, from the North side of the canyon.
Any questions? I decided to give you some space, I can just throw you together if you like though.
Nunzillor:
A modernist, shining gun made from folded plastic and origami, all simple cuboids and smooth cylinders, it shoots a plastic projectile that explodes into a gigantic mass of plush upon imapct.
By pulling the secondary trigger just so, it can be used to make a fake object real, in return for making a real object fake. It is easiest to do this with something in your control. There is a progressively lower chance of this suceeding the less you have the thing and the more someone else does.
If the second mechanism happens to backfire, a real object may be made more so, and a fake one will be made faker.
This is seldom a good experience for anyone involved.
Gentlefish:
One of the most curious things about this weapon is the body of it. Instead of a normal handle or hilt, it attaches itself to the surface of one's arm, slipping onto it somehow and flattening out over a wide area. At one's bicep, it is entirely horizontal, but gradually gains a third dimension, still wrapped around the arm, at the wrist. It is made of and extremely strong variety of whitewashed plastic, and resembles a box with a cylinder and a hole in one end, gradually flattening tattoolike as it extends up one's body.
A revolver cylinder rests on the end, six steel barrels out of which a short, corkscrewing metal spike extends, only a handful of inches long, before disappearing back into the barrel. This can be done 6 times in rapid succession, once with each barrel, before the implement needs rewinding.
When a switch on the back is flicked, minature rail tracks extend out rapidly, unwinding or constructing themselves along any plane or up any object. A minature train can then be fired out of the body of the thing, which locomotes rapidly along the rails, pulling the weapon after it with about a foot of flexible wire. The rails will run out where the weapon is originally aimed, and the minature engine will stop suddenly, flinging the user further forward. Overall, its use somewhat resembles that of a grapple gun: a period of towing before a powerful release.
Doctor McTaalik
Magical oils bent on destruction fill a violin, capable of emitting huge quantities of heated air. They can alternate this with blasts of cold, rapidly frosting and thawing an object or building to crumble it.
A single feather floats in the amber brew. This calls down lightning when people blaspheme, state radical ideas or express firmly positive attitudes towards women having an equal place in society.
Playing the violin doesn't actually do anything. You just have to aim it.
IcyTea
A large hammer with a propellor at one end, and a sharp, pointed steel frame at the other. Due to the propellor, it is capable of delivering extremly fast blows, occassionally lifting the user off the ground.
If the handle is balanced on one shoulder and carefully aimed, a scattering of paper aeroplanes can be shot out the base, each containg a coiled, sharptoothed crystalline snake. Tiny and easily crushed underfoot, these will still cause considerable pain and bloodloss if one walks through a cloud of their craft.
The centre of the hammer is composed of a black and grey metal mask, the visor dark, sunken and opaque. Anyone who tried to wear it would be clearly insane, what with the propellor strapped to their head and the snake-gun pointing at their bollocks this would entail.
Current Beasts:
Nunzillor
With flesh made from plastic, electronics and speakers, covered in almost blinding green spots of light, a great swollen creature, barely able to float above the ground despite the light and flammable gases inside it.
It is extremely clingy, with an almost religious devotion to its owner, and will readily approach absolutely anything else. It will not, under any circumstances, move more than a few feet from you.
Aside from the general searing light and sensory deprivation from the blaring speakers, it is capable of shooting thick arcs of electricity from its body, thanks to bulging and tangled copper wires threaded through it.
Overall, it has no visible animal features, and resembles a five foot long faceless, finless, tailless whale floating several metres above the ground. It is capable of slowly ascending.
IcyTea
A plastic barrel a metre long, with hundreds of finely crafted blades radiating from the curved sides, attached at the hilt, it rests inside two great wheels made of quartz plating and flexible steel links, one at each end of the cylinder.
The overall piece resembles an outsize thread bobbin, with a great deal of swords coming out of the place where the string would be.
It tends to avoid combat unless in a position of strategical advantage, but doesn't mind a great deal either way.
It is capable of emitting vast quantities of sleeping gas when attacked, the only way to avoid walking through this being to get in the barrel, somehow not breathe in for a while, or run away. It is primarily defensive.
Doctor McTaalik
A pulsating mass of burning alcohol loosely kept together by a slightly stabler skin or envelope surrounding it. It is shapeless, but would be nine feet in diameter in spherical form, if it wasn't generally so flattened.
Composed of flame with a tough fiery molten hide, it can be ridden and controlled via a cramped metal seat and dashboard embedded deep inside it.
It has no mind of its own, and will do little except passively protect its owner, and protect said person from its heat, allowing them to enter and leave it.
Gentlefish
A huge metal-plated egg, with several layers of armour: one of metal, one of fuel-soaked glass shards, one of turtle shell. It is capable of rolling about, balancing on its base, and igniting the fuel it secretes from its skin.
It has layers of sharp glass inside, filled with diesel, and a hard chrome outer covering., leaking oil from hundreds of tiny pores.
Making up for its fragile, shatterable flesh, it has an extremely hard turtle shell layer as well beneath that, almost and exoskeleton or extra layer of, plates of turtle shell guarding an infant form that shelters beneath. It is incredibly sturdy.
It has a regal disposition, and will only help the brave and dignified, but refuses to aid those that don't appreciate it.
