((Hope you feel better soon indeed. Post when you're up for it, if nothing else it gives USEC a bit more time to beat the autopilot switch. ))
((Sadly, it doesn't seem enough time. Still sore as hell, but I'm able to type and think creatively enough to post.
How the auto-pilot will work in this is simple: they'll be the ones who wait behind and do things when the party isn't there. This allows them to drop in/drop out at any point in time and allow waitlisters to come in. HOWEVER, I will bring in waitlisters after a player goes on autopilot for a week. So no more "USEC gotta go, we gon' take 'is 'ead off and feed 'im to a nasty ting'" or extended periods of time with me playing their characters. It's going to be more work on me, but I'm willing to put it on. Its not like Mastahcheese with a game with 50+ people...
This also means, I'm expecting a character sheet from Flying Dice within that week's time if they're still interested *hint-hint, nudge-nudge, say no more, say no more*))
Mauricio looks at James strangely and his eyes turn to a soulless, empty blue and emanate a small amount of light and heals the remaining amount of people. With the most able bodied, they get to work quickly and start to use the spare oars to move. Within minutes, you make it back to shore with one extra boat (but sadly, one less set of oars). Kylie drapes a blanket over James as they approach land, and Kylie tries to figure out the reason for Mauricio's glowing blue eyes but lacks the knowledge to do so. ((Knowledge arcana required))
Taking inventory of what is actually on the ship, you notice that this ship seems to have an excess of tools, such as hatchets, pickaxes, chisels, hammers (?) and a few weapons (two shortswords, a rapier, a shortspear and a javelin. All of which could use some maintenance (they give -1 to attack and damage rolls)).
When you make it to shore, several people come out to help bring the ships in, and several people on the ship start to unload what they have. You also note from their stores of food, they were just about to run out in another day or two if you rationed it to just enough to last.
After unloading, moving the ships back closer inland, some of the people were waiting on the shore come out to help out the mildly wounded newcomers. ((Considering the only person who would benefit from some of this info is MIA, any details or notice of details will be sent to Hanzoku directly until USEC returns)).
By the time everything is unloaded and put into the caves, the place seems a bit more crowded, and the others make it back within an hour afterwards (just in time for dinner). However, those marked as guards (the woodcutters and the two ex-guards) now have weapons they can use somewhat. The ex-guards take the shortswords and the woodcutters take hatchets.
((I'll give an entire list of everything you guys have when I have everything written down in stone. Its not majorly important right now, but it will be documented))
Kylie pulls James off to the side during this time that it takes the others to return to speak in private at the back of the caves with the animals (and where James just so happened to bathe). Regardless of the struggle you put up, she grips you tightly and essentially drags you there ((Incoming messages))
