BONUS BOSS BATTLE: THE VILLAGE PEOPLE
THEME: "Y.M.C.A." IN A MINOR KEY

Volx casts Swiftness of the Wind, once again infusing the Donchaka with energy to give them another turn!

The Donchaka spends one of their turns performing the Lament of Defense once more, raising their Temporary RES to 79 Points! Fever is raised to 18!


The Police Officer tries to beat on the Donchaka with his Baton! He batters against their shields and takes away 14 points of RES.

The War Chief pulls purple dust out of his pouch and throws it at the Donchaka! The Donchaka inhale the strange concoction and suddenly begin to get drowsy!

The Construction Worker is building some sort of weapon. It looks like it will be done next turn!

The Biker hops on his Chopper and begins revving it up, a combination of smoke and fire comes out of the exhaust!

The Naval Officer waves his hand and a hole in the back of the room opens up and shoots a torpedo forward! It explodes between both the Donchaka and Volx! The Donchaka take 27 points of damage and Volx receives 6.

The Cowboy throws his lasso at Volx and tries to tie him up! The spirit struggles but ultimately fails. Until Volx escapes the Lasso, he will take continuous damage every turn!

With an extra turn left, the Donchaka attempt to resist the Sleep Powder! They remain awake enough to do a half-hearted Ballad of 1999! Their drowsiness is cured and their fever gauge is boosted to 23! Volx is healed for 25 HP!

Aesford opens the door to Tight Endz and enters along with Anna, Sandra, Kyle and Priscilla. They find a mostly empty dance club with tables overturned along with drinks and other refuse spilled everywhere.

It also appears that the Donchaka Tribe and Volx have gotten into a fight with the Village People.

Battle Theme

Mio attacks the less injured Golden Gigas with a piercing strike, the initial blow dealing 34 damage even on the physical  armor and the piercing one dealing an additional 25 for a total of 59 damage. Mankai is ready.

Chartre uses Chill on the same Gigas, the pseudo-magic dust rounds dealing 43 damage and weakening it's attacks.

Chryssa guards.

Alanis makes a Kinetic Shell, and is healed to full by ItE's unconscious hugs.

Inomi takes a Strength Arcana card from her belt, to activate Shattering Blow on the weaker enemy using the rifle to avoid it's melee resistance and dealing a total of 48 damage.

Loki uses Mabufu, dealing 40 damage to both enemies.

Kenji opens fire on the second Golden Gigas, firing 3 attacks for a total of 80 damage.

Ian punches Golden Gigas A in the place where the junk would be. It didn't seem to like that, the Critical Hit to the nads ignoring it's physical defense and allowing the punch to deal 84 damage and finish it off.

Golden Gigas B rushes Chartre. Chartre's boosted defense and the Gigas' blunted attack allows him to take the hit much better than he otherwise would have, but he still takes 20 damage.

Eirika strikes twice, dealing 34 damage.

Sachi's scan doesn't turn up anything they didn't already know.

Assuming that Volx will grant them one last boon of speed.

They play the Hold tight hoedown, Doubling their next attack's damage, and hopefully granting them enough fever to finish this.

Finally, they unleash their true power, they attack with the Aria of Attack, spending all of their Fever to deal (1d(1/2 Dex+Fever Gauge)+(Fever Gauge)d4)X2 damage to all targets in range, ignoring 1dFever(The stat) RES.

In a sudden roar thee begin throwing spears and bashing shields, attacking all the enemies in the room with a flurry of attacks,  the power of The Almighty pulsing in their veins and giving them speed and grace beyond anyone else, the rhythm is theirs to command, and nobody else.
