Most of the crowd are fine, with a few bullet injuries in the legs and arms. No fatalities, thank god. Similarly with the attackers, although there's far more fractures and bruising than bullet wounds. She carefully constructs her grenade, waiting for the opportune moment to throw it.

6AR charges in, expecting an easy fight from these primitives, throwing a flurry of blows with his lightsaber at their gun arms-
Only to have the seemingly normal-looking batons able to parry the saber, as he gains the attention of three of the soldiers. Uh oh.

Behind him, Haruka lands with a thud, cracking the pavement below her. She succeeds in taunting the soldiers as they turn their guns- unsuccessfully- on her rather large shield.

Tourmaline shrieks, deafening a few of the civilians.....and doing absolutely nothing to the soldiers at all.

Wilson throws the grenade into the crowd! He ducks, attempting to avoid the explosion.

Then the grenade is thrown back, landing next to him quite nicely, too. The courier has merely a moment to glance at it before it goes off. The blast hurls him backwards towards the blown-out cafe window, throwing him against the wall and stunning him for a moment.

He regains his consciousness to see one of the armoured men aiming a rather large explosive gun at him. Wilson only has enough time to close his eyes to look away from his fate as the trigger is pulled-
"NO!"
And he sees Penelope rush in front of him, hand in coat, running directly in front of the explosive shell as it explodes-
The shell explodes, obscuring Penelope and Wilson from the view of everyone else.

It should be noted that Yamal is not, and never was, a warship. A sturdy ship, yes, but still civilian. Of course, modern warships were already moving away from heavy armor when she was being built, trusting in speed and active defenses to protect against a precision strike that could penetrate seemingly any armor from far over the horizon. But she did not have their speed, and her added machine guns were meant as anti-air and anti-torpedo weapons, not as proper modern CIWS (for all the good it did against missiles and incoming shells). Nor was she a great floating fortress like a battleship, built with layer after layer of heavy duty armor to keep their vital areas operational under the most devastating of bombardments. Her hastily retrofitted armor plating was quite meager in comparison, and she did not have the nigh-impenetrable citadel that could keep the ship afloat after everything else was torn to a thousand pieces of Swiss cheese.

None of that mattered, however, when she was fighting against humans with small arms. She literally laughs off their attacks as she rams the one against a conveniently placed lamppost, leaving both bad guy and lamppost far the worse for wear. A hail of bullets flies around her, but the rough bark of .50 caliber machinegun fire answers in response, swatting incoming projectiles out of the air with unerring accuracy. Perhaps the 'leveling effect' some spoke of back home, but interception was interception. She didn't question the universe weighting the dice. She just moved on to the next target.

Her eloquent taunting is cut off, rather brutally, by the arrival of heavier weapons. Of course, Yamal makes to rush in and protect the humans and other fragile things, pushing her boilers as hard as they can go (the reactor chugs along without a care), but Penelope beats her to it.

... so she just goes to beat the shit out of the weapon's firer. And riddle him with bullets. That sounds good right now.

Victoria had in the previous thing reached out to her side, summoned her gun in the form of a pistol, shot the guy's arm to keep him from picking up the gun, and had been about to jump back to shoot from a distance before the whole stuff happened.

Haruka glances backward at the shout and explosion, but she's a bit hard pressed to do much more than occupy the soldiers she's already occupying. She shuffles forward, keeping her shield up and her weapon ready to [Counter] any attacks sent in her direction. Gritting her teeth, she decides to deal with the issue later.

Sandra, meanwhile, begins her task of finishing that book.

Evridiki lets out a violent swear as this all goes down, but the very first thing she does is to throw her grenade into an area of the crowd rife with injuries, the Tricordrazine grenade exploding into a cloud of white mist, that would heal the wounds of any caught within its radius! Then she turned towards the situation with Penelope and Wilson, hand reaching towards her saw as she prepared to move.

The droid drops into a defensive stance to counter.

PERSONA PLOT PEOPLE:

The teleporter, once the proper Earth is entered, sends the Persona-plot people away. They end up in an alleyway, and upon exit emerge into a busy city street, the sounds of a bustling metropolis around them.

Kasumi speaks to them, her voice having a similar echo-y quality to Sachi's when she's being telepathic."Welcome to Tokyo. Huh, more of you than I expected. Let me figure out where you are... Alright. Here's how you get over here..." Kasumi says, before giving them directions.
