I like Demi, and I like glorify, and the upgrades, so your pick.

On the one hand, Demi Fits with the Non-lethal theme I have been going for,

Upgrades would bring D&G closer and closer to being useful.

I could Follow Garnt to Dark Souls town to sacrifice the Medal normally.

And I could make Best Friends with the horrible monster normally.

1d2 = 2, Upgrades it is.

-Level 2 Free Statue: Gozer Places a Statue in front of Him and Dackly, negating the next Melee attack to hit them entirely, spending one statue point, it lasts until they cancel it, or until they are hit by a melee attack.

-Level 3 Petrify: Dackly deals Magic damage and petrifies an enemy, stunning them for a few turns, if the enemy dies from Petrify, they become a statue permanently, but if they die while petrified, the statue breaks.  Petrification chance grows with each use in a row on the same target.  Pierces immunities on a natural crit.  Inanimate objects with immunity now give a time required to petrify them.

Sound right?

Wait, no I'm a filthy casul, I choose Demi instead.

-Level 1 Demi: Deals 25% of enemy's remaining HP rounding down, cannot kill, Gozer uses gravity to turn the enemy's weight against them, Rolls against their Str instead of their RES.

I hope so, it seems balanced, but it also seems like the kind of ability that everything important is immune to.

Either way, I plan to abuse the shit out of it to try and solo the next boss.
