Hrm.... I tried upgrading, and it broke my mods. When I try to install dynamic lights, the game crashes when I try to open it from the launcher. I really need the dynamic lights for my LP, and I don't want to have to switch back and forth between versions all the time, so I probably won't be on the multiplayer server until I can figure out a fix. I'll have to stick with 2.1.2 for now. If anyone has any idea of how to fix this, please let me know!

It's strange though, I updated when the update first came out and it seemed to work. But now when I add the mods, it crashes on startup... Very frustrating! I'll write the modpack creator and see if he can help. He's been very helpful in the past.

You can use multiMC to have multiple versions of the modpack installed side by side, so at least you can do your LP and play on the server while waiting for a fix.

No worries, you're doing this all for free so I'm just thankful we have somewhere to play when it's up!

Edit: Now I'm timing out when trying to connect instead. Pinging the server works fine, however. Hmm...

restarting it one more time, log didn't point to any failure, only disconnctions from clients, try one more time

uhh By the way, I was present for the previous crash, be very very cautious when using the world scanner on the spaceship.

I was trying, and failing to get the beginner badge. And I may have teleported out mid Scan. Too much for the poor server.

I see people connecting, so for now I'll just keep an eye on it. if it dies, I just learned about this nogui switch I didn't knew before, so maybe next time it will restart happier? dunno.
