You wake up fresh the next morning and overlook the beautiful, blasted landscape from your spire. Its all yours now! Wanting nothing and no one to disrupt your rule, you plan to rid yourself of both the insurrectionists and rivals. Calling for various adepts and clerks, you host a speech tour throughout your hive, amplifying your voice so that every Ordalian soul can hear.

+++GLORY TO THE EMPEROR AND HIS ETERNAL DIVINE WILL+++

First point. You give a rousing, hateful speech about the rebels and threaten torture and death. They do not take it kindly. Enforcer reports indicate brawls and small scale riots happening.

Second point. You slightly boring speech on food manufacturing is ineffective, now that people are rioting.

Third point. You decide to implement 'soccer', an ancient Terran sport. Of course, with forty millenia, the rules are unknown and drastically misunderstood. It involves spilling blood and lacks a ball, more akin to gladiatorial combat.

+++LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR+++

Acceptance reduced to Loathed. Soccer pits will be implemented next turn. Seeing the failure of the faith of Ordalians, you call upon Tech-priest Matrix and have many rebels and traitors lobotomized and turned into servitors. The acolytes of the Mechanicus suffer heavy losses when trying to capture the rebels. The rebels loot various Mechanicus tech and artifacts. Matrix is furious.

He wants you to get back what was stolen, by any means necessary, right now.

You should play to your strengths, the tech level is relic, so think about ways of implementing tech.

I suggest manufacturing Service bots to monitor the streets, but also to help citizens with simple tasks like cleaning and maintenance, that way we can keep an eye on things, but they're making the citizens lives easier, so they couldn't really complain, pitch it as a public service.

Instead of building soccer and football stadiums, build Cyber Domes, the finest in virtual reality entertainment. But as your fare citizens are enjoying the bliss of the VR we watch them with cameras and monitor their minds.

Is there any way we could switch from a hardline stance to a softer stance?  Fewer promises of death and lobotomies.  Instead more offers of amnesty and assistance.

if you offer services using your technology, you can, like I said, keep an eye on people, and using our above average defense, we can deal with threats as soon as they arise, and the citizens wouldn't complain because they'd be services, they'd make lives easier.

+1 also send out the PDF to rectify the rioters offering amnestry if they go home and stop causing trouble. The rest..well they die or go to jail.

GM next time please consider the other part of my suggestion (I.E talking to the other advisers) because now we have to order an unknown man to fix our mistake without greeting them properly.

+1 If you don't like one of your advisors is there a way to replace them?

I imagine so but doing would mean angering more people. We should see how this game plays because it looks like our job is going to be hell.

But if you have an amazing military and an incompetent general for example, we would want to have the possibility of replacing them.

How would we find them?

I mean we could offer to build a Schoila Progenium (I think that's how you say it) for Imperial commissar training as well as storm troopers and Sisters of battle. The way they work is that orphans (which i'm sure theirs alot) can be brought in and brainwashed schooled into being officers, shock troopers, and commissars. Doing so would help our tithe's value and help us in case of an Ork invasion because we'll have more assets to fight with.

you mentioned that we are sending people who we haven't met yet do important jobs, what if one of those people is incompetent? Would we be able to replace incompetent people.

I'm not saying they are incompetent, but if they are I want to know if they can be replaced, willingly or otherwise.

We should try to recover the stolen technology ASAP. Or else we will have the Mechanichus trying to replace us.

We should also try to organize expedictions into the underhives. Combat servitors (they should not be difficult to make with our tech level), some Adeptus Arbites and PDF and some Sisters of Battle (I'm sure the Cannoness will love burning mutants and heretics down there).

I think our priorities are:

1: Retrieve the stolen technology.
2: Stop the riots.
3: Send expeditions to the underhive.
4: Make people like us and make them follow the Imperial Creed.

We should put techpriests to work making servitors using the bodies of people heavily injured during the riots and of prisoners. This servitors can be used to do the most dangerous jobs, which is something loyal citizens will thank us for.

EDIT: t and r are too close on the keyboard... Just in case it caused confusion.

I love your all out  attack plan. We should do this AND meet with the PDF leader/General/commander to help out also with enforcers. In return we'll promise to help build the PDF to greater hieghts (which we should do anyways).
