make the uber cannon a 800mm howitzer.
BOOOOOM. Shoots once every few minutes, kills frost giants from the safety of the capitol.
FROST GIANTS: INITIATE LEVEL 2 SALTTECH > SALTICLE STORM
Frost Giants gain SALTICLE STORM, rain deadly salt spikes on squishy Arstotzkans. Costs 2 Salt.
By the way, Arstotzka's resources updated, 999 salt.
Design the AS-G.
The AS-G is the embodiment of Glory. The Medal of Glory is used as a catalyst to draw upon all the glory of those who were awarded into and condenses it all into itself. Whoever then physicall wears the Medal of Glory will become the embodiment of Glory and shall bring the utmost glory to Arstotzka.
Revise our DB to use 2 Oil instead of 3 Oil.
Glory to Arstotzka.
AS-G is national effort, Konstantin the Bear uses it to become thirty feet tall and fight frost giants with his
bare bear hands. Divebomber oil usage is reduced, engines seize up and are ruined because you ran them without oil, what were you thinking.
destroy the salt mines. if possible, flood them with water to dissolve salt, then drain salt water toward the sea and away from giants. not a grain will be left to them!
High command forbids it, they are addicted to salt at their dinner tables.
Design napalm. Melt giants.
Melty! You would drop it out of divebombers but
somebody ruined all their engines.
Ice giants build giant catapults to bury Arstotzka in snow and ice!
Uh oh! Tanks are crushed by giant snowballs. Still doesn't outrange 800mm artillery.
Ice giants build giant catapults to bury Arstotzka in snow and ice!
Ice giants use avalanche to bury the salt mines in ice, securing them for their own devices.
Arstotzkans use 1911 mortars to bury the avalanches in avalanches before they can bury the salt mines.
My head hurts.
How effective are incendiary rounds against ice giants?
It's super effective!
Frost giants: Steal an enemy machine gun. Inscribe it with "infinite ammo" in frost giant runes.
Too small, just useful as toothpicks.
Design a portable AS-AC18 turret on a sled that can be pulled for long distances over rough terrain by the use of ropes and harnesses. It must be capable of articulation and being operated from the ground by a small team protected by an armoured screen. Some field assembly is permissible but it must take no longer than 20 minutes for a trained crew to deploy the turret. It requires anchors to stabilise it when in operation, possibly custom charges used to project reusable or field-replaceable pegs into the ground.
The must also be a sister project to produce ammunition sleds that can be reliably and swiftly attached for sustained firing.
The intention is to have specialised ambush-and-defence forces that are assigned such weapons and pack-animals as appropriate and then assigned to groups that are expected to require such expertise. They should be deployable with infantry units without appreciably raising their operational or logistical profile while providing a decisive weapon for use against unaware opponents and in situations where vehicles are either too expensive or difficult to operate.
Incendiary AC-18's are effective but vulnerable to retaliation by catapults. Sleds are slow because they are pulled by lazy moksburg slaves.
Ice giants are help back but barely. Nothing has happened to bolster their numbers yet.
