It's been several days, the time is close..

Jon, while still not fully combat effective, have more or less recovered from his major operation enough that he could walk around and proceed to get used to his new body. It feels.. strange, really. Though you think you could get used to it, or at least as much used to feeling the warmthless endo steel internal structure inside you as you could. Though the R&D Insists that you are a walking masterpiece, donning the very pinnacle of Mankind's combined Biotechnology and robotics. You're quite literally the Million dollars man, now.

Everyone in Foxhound are invited over to see the vehicle that you'll be living in for the next indefinitely amount of time, and told that you'll all be living in it from today onwards to get used to it and are advised that if you have any personal belongings in the penthouse, now's the time to go get 'em.

You'll get to go back to live in your Penthouse after the mission, of course. However long that is..

They expect it to be quite long, apparently. As the Vehicle that they've taken you all to is.. well, it's nothing less than a mobile base. From the outside it looks like the bastard birthed from a heavy duty 18 wheeler truck going dirty on a drunk Main Battle Tank. And it's already got painted in jungle Camo, too! Though you think it's going to be a very tight squeeze to push the thing through the gate..

A guide took you inside for a tour, and lo and behold, the inside looks far better than the outside. Thanks to it being corporate property, whoever commissioned this vehicle decided to go the extra mile and make sure even the furniture inside are both industrial strong and still provides comfort of a civilian goods. The chairs are high-quality synth leather, for example.

You are treated to the specs of your new mobile home, a dorm room for the squad and a small office/room with bed in the wall for the squad leader, The designs seems to aim for space efficiency as beds are built into the wall, allowing small storage space for personal items or sidearms.

The showers seems to be shared, except for the one in the officer's office, of course. While a little small, it still have enough room to comfortably shower and do your business.

The cargo hold is spacious, and you're certain you could fit a goddamn tank inside if you so wanted. Though they said that no, they're not giving you a tank. Off to the side of the cargo hold are several scientific containers of several sizes, this will be where you store any samples or magical artifacts that you've found.

Food, water and spare parts have their own storage, and is stuffed to the very brim with essentials. The powerful filtration system on board ensures that you won't easily run out of water even if you were to go to Mars or something. And to ensure that any potentially magical rainwater will be drinkable if collected.

A small blessing on foods are that they're not those nasty survival food, but custom made Akras Low-Effort Meals™. It's basically military MRE Boxes, but infinitely more edible. Even comes with juice powder to mix in with water for drinks if one wanted some sweets in their water.

The potentially most useful thing on board would have to be the Drone bay, and while there's none of the new generation humanoid drones, the bay itself will allow Technicians to easily repair or salvage damaged drones and any other robotic stuff they come across. It comes with 8 threaded drones armed with the usual Anti-Ballistic system and MAG Assault rifle as well as the underslung built-in 20mm cannon / 40mm grenade launcher.

As well as 2 Flight-capable recon drones with built-in Anti-Ballistic system that can be launched up into the sky like a missile.

The vehicle itself is armed with 4 automated 20mm Flak turrets that you can manually control if needed be, giving you a formidable Anti-Air capability. And you're pretty sure that it will chew through unarmored and lightly armored monsters with ease, though you're going to want to Gauss anything bigger. And anything your Gauss can't take probably means you shouldn't be there, anyway.

All of this, of course, is made possible because of the very well-protected miniature fission reactor inside the vehicle. It's so long-lasting and effective that it'll continue to power a small country long after said country have gone to dust. And while it is stable, your guide insist that you try to not get it hit too much. The resulting effect could be.. nuclear.

"Any questions?"

"Yes sir, our guide said that the vehicle shouldn't be hit to much or the result would be nuclear, should we have anti radiation pills just in case something goes wrong?"

"Trust me, if you start having radiation problems, the radiation itself is going to be the least of your worries."

"Sir are you saying the reactor might...explode? Because the worst a meltdown could do is eat through containment, unless the vehicle is using an experimental fission reactor that could actually explode."

"I'm saying that the shielding we have on the thing will survive an orbital re-entry. And if something manage to destabilize it enough to cause radiation problems to you, then it'll be very likely that you're already dead and a little radiation wouldn't worry you anyway."

"Uh, yeah. How do i get in? And also, what is this things name?"

Frazz gets the techies to pack a 5x5x5 cube of super-compressed beef jerky for him to gnaw on when he gets bored/hungry for real meat. And then installs a subwoofer system on the inside of the vehicle.

"If you want to enchant anything on the vehicle then I suggest you do them now. You're shipping out in a couple of days." You are advised. "We've got stocks of monkey again now as well."

Multiple reinforcement enchantments on vital bits. General wards for various things. Look into but do not utilize enchantments for making things larger on the inside then they are on the outside. Best to test that first. Get some anti air mounted on the thing. Wards to make the vehicle itself less noticable, easiest way to not have to engage things is make it so they don't notice. Repuslion wards for unthinking entities and lifeforms. Make them not want to approach. Proximity alarm wards to notify of approaching entities. Anything that seems useful.

Several of those are achievable via Technology alone, such as electrical statics field to jolt wandering animals away from your vehicles, but you get the Wiznerds to come help enchant the Mobile Base in it's vital bits. Shielding the core as well as covering the vehicle from mental tampering, boosting the already robust defense you got from lead-lined walls.

The local technicians there at the vehicle bay are understandably creeped out at the sight of robed dudes wielding weirdass cult knives slitting throats of monkeys and etching weirdass runes onto the vehicle and coating said runes in blood.

They didn't get paid enough for this shit..

You've already got 4 20mm automated Flak turrets, though. What else do you need for AA?

"You could probably maybe squeeze into the cargohold, but when this thing were built they didn't count on one of the crew to be a dragon."

you managed to coerced several techies to help pack several 5 squared millimeter cubes of beef jerky for you, they'll make a nice cereal breakfast you bet. Though you can't quite figure out how to install a subwoofer system on the inside of the vehicle.. you suppose you could remove one of the specimen containers in the cargo hold and replace it with a really big radio system or something?

You're definitely going to need to remove something.. though there's already built-in entertainment system for the crew, but you don't think you can reach them from the Cargo hold easily.

No subwoofers. That's a bad idea. Loud blaring music in a hostile environment can only go terribly.

Figure out a way for Frazz to fit inside though. That or rig up some HVAC suit for him.
