((I don't really know what to post. Aria has no questions that Tal won't ask.))
((Well, ask them before he gets the chance! Make a joke to Vigil so he can stutter and overreact and laugh awkwardly! I dunno!))

"Of note, trees will interfere with kill zones and enable creatures capable of climbing to bypass walls. I recommend clear cutting and lighting with floodlights a 100 meter radius around the construction site. Would disturb local wildlife sufficiently to enable exposure for capture as well as provide a surplus of samples."

"Tal, quick question. Why exactly do you think it necessary to mess with this ecosystem? I mean, this is different that what we've seen before. All the species we've seen were engineered/bred/designed/whatevered to be soldiers. This is an entire ecosystem. The creatures will probably just be designed/bred/whatecer to stay alive! I mean, this could be an amazing look into ecological as well as biological studies. So, go easy on the napalm this time until we know for sure its trying to kill us."

Zach hears the conversation. "Tal, I agree with Frazz on this matter. For all we know, this could be the solution to Earth overcrowding. If we destroy the ecosystem like we have here on Earth, then we stand to make nothing from this venture. Hell, Akras could even harvest oxygen from here and pump our CO2 back in for the trees to convert. What are we going to do, Tal? Are we going to go in, disrupt natural food chains, eliminate an ecosystem? Remember, Akras needs to make money from this, or its not worth the costs to send people in.

The Suited man nodded. "That's right. a hundred square meters around the Gatesite is reasonable enough for us to pave with Concrete. If there's no other questions, you are dismissed. We'll prepare the necessary preparations and assign you any additional assets if it's needed, you'll leave in a week from now for quite a trip and will be expected to survive for a period of time as we establish a base Gate-side."

"At the absolute least. The wood should be abnormal enough to sell as exotic wood. And even if the vegetation turns out to be horrifically toxic, there's a market for that."

The suited man makes a note on that.

And with nothing else to address, Foxhound is dismissed to go do whatever the damn hell they pleased for the week..

Zach will gets a ping saying that his Van is ready and is parked at the garage.

Frazz is being asked to be part of an experiment in making Draconic heat-resistant armor plates using a combination of heat-absorbing stone mesh nettings and alloy armor plates with high melting point.

Jenny and Maximus have returned to Foxhound after much-needed R&R. Apparently you can take Corporate leave to go on a short vacation! They went to Las Vegas, proceed to get shit-faced, got into a few brawls with scars to show for it, got all of their personal credits robbed blind by Casinos and got married.

Apparently they also took A and B Carmine with them, and being robbed blind by the Casinos have put off their retirement plan for several years, Which they hope to make up to by sticking around with Foxhound. But on the brighter side, the Carmine brothers are now proud owner of the 'Swanky Carmines Pleasure Emporium.' which was an old pleasure palace given a completely new look by the injection of the combined fund by the Carmine brothers earned over shooting soul-shriveling daemons from other dimension/world/space.

They said they're going to live there when they retire and live in vice for the rest of their lives. A brofist was shared when they told you this.

Vigil looks at them when they make that statement with a small bit of dissaproval.
"Whatever makes you happy. . . . . don't think I will retire if I can help it. Sounds awful. "
Vigil did go back to play his game, again, only to notice that it was swarmed with people trying to beat his nearly perfect high score, on some of the harder songs. So, instead, he took the time to train his sword arm and dodging. He was going to leave Serpent's Fang behind, at the planned clearing, and take Betsy. If they had to go out in the Forest, he would need the slight boost in speed it would provide, but, he would need another blade as well. One as light as Betsy, but as strong as his other. Or near it, in any case. So, he would also be taking that request to the R&D.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

Frazz also brokers a deal with the Carmines to become the symbol/mascot/logo for the Palace.
