Now I want to meet and compliment whoever thought of that variable.
"Yes, sir. We've accounted for variations in path length, wall thickness, number of turns, wall height, light level, runner health, food distribution, runner gender, runner age, ambient electric charge, the magnetic field of the earth, breeding season, and lunar cycle."
"Have you tried cannibalism?"
"Me personally, sir, or the worms?"
"... The worms. Honestly, Lecter, there are times I worry about you."
On a less silly note, have you decided on where to go with your character, Irony?
I figured that we needed a tech guy to build the team some cool stuff, and I figured that people would be disappointed of they didn't get to be a part of this game, so I made Nimvedih:
Name: Nimvedih Detniat
Captain: No
Race: Keelai
Archetype: Chaotic Artificer
Attributes (80 points)
Strength: 0
Finesse: 0
Speed: 0
Grace: 0
Wisdom: 60
Brilliance: 40
Skills + Special Abilities (5 points)
Skill 1: Scholar
--Specialization 1: Natural Philosopher
Skill 2: Avernomantic Discipline
--Specialization 2: Waking Trance
Skill 3: Artificer
--Specialization 3: Tinker
Gear: Determined by Bay Twelve, after Nimvedih is chosen
Description: Nimvedih is male, and has jet black "feathers", eyes, and "skin". His movements are chaotic, and even he doesn't seem to know his next movement. Somehow, he is still able to fly. His face and muscles constantly twitch if he isn't focusing on them.
Personality: Nimvedih has a hard time finishing sentences, and is very pragmatic. He suffers from wild mood swings, and sometimes talks to himself. He occasionally cries out in pain and/or sobs, seemingly randomly. He does not adhere to the moral imperatives that the rest of his kind follow. The voices don't care, and trying to adhere to the imperatives makes the voices angry. Nimvedih does not like it when the voices are angry.
Biography: Nimvedih was fascinated by technology as a child, and after the War of the Feathers, he resolved to find a way for his species and civilization to still prevail in the technological race between species. He toiled at this task for at least 30 years, but was not making much progress. He asked an Arbiter to help, and the Arbiter cast "improve ability to do science". The faith machine complied... and "gifted" Nimvedih with the voices. When his community found out about the voices, the Arbiter that accidentally cursed Nimvedih offered to try to remove it. Nimvedih rejected the offer, replying that the voices gave him many wondrous ideas, and any one of them could be incredibly useful. Many years later, the voices demanded that he become a mercenary at [location of the creation of the mercenary band], saying that it was imperative that he do so, and Nimvedih complied.
Special: Nimvedih can hear (and reply to) the posts in the OOC and IC threads IC (they are voices in his head). This has adverse effects on his sanity, but allows him to receive project ideas (and other information) from Bay Twelve.
Okay, the bio is is sort of more okay now. I'm fine with insanity, I'm just not sure how well meta-insanity will play. There are people I trust to be able to do it, but I don't know you from Adam.
Furthermore, your skills and attributes are still wrong. You changed them, but they're still wrong for the same reasons. You cannot purchase skills out of their sequence, and you cannot have any attribute higher than 50. That includes racial bonuses.
