Just caught a wolverine. Female. Next time a male wolverine wanders by I'll have kid wolverines !

Seemingly wolverines are basically slightly larger badgers. Wondering if an army of wolverines is better than an army of dogs ?

PROS : wolverines are far cooler
wolverines get the PRONE_TO_RAGE tag, and yes they rage even while
CONS : dogs are slightly bigger
dogs can be trained for war

*goes for wikipedia search*

Wolverines it is !

Had to restart my necropolis project, due to the save corruption update fix release.

New embark site is directly adjacent to a necro tower.  Invaders off to avoid premature necrospecial interactions.

Back to square 1.... glassworks industry is barely functional. Farming and booze production is stable. Initial barracks completed.

Stage1 fortress construction is underway.

I have just reclaimed my old fort, that got lost due to zombie fun. Inmediately after embarking i had to draft my starting seven into a squad to avoid a heinous cloud of muck. 5 seconds later i get a message stating one of the heinous muck zombies has given birth. Now i have a dwarven baby that belongs to my civ. This child is half-zombie lol.

I caught two necromancers in cage traps, a few zombies as well.

Now to make the necros into a forced training device... Undead arena, anyone ?

Sicked a pair of pikedwarves on a rattlesnake man.
Snake man got whacked upside the head and ALL his teeth flew out.

That's gotta be my favorite new feature.

I don't think that's a bug, it used to be every animal had maybe four teeth now instead of targeting "lower back tooth" you target their "lower back teeth".

I decided to try agian in an evil environment.

The result was an immediate assult made by a flock of raven corpses. The ravens got defeated, but the current issues are the animated remains of what they left behind.

This feel like the movie The Birds, only with more necromancy, horror, and general dwarfiness.

Most bears have 42 teeth, animals have lots of teeth the reason it seems like you have so many is because the refuse pile uses as much room for a dead elephant as it does for a dead fly.

I burned forty children in the arena of my meeting hall, in front of their parents. My hammerer murdered my captain of the guard.

A Goblin Snatcher skewered the baby of one of my Threshers, popped it into a sack, and attempted to flee.

To actually reach the baby in question without being detected, this goblin had to evade my war dogs at the entrance, the militia squad on constant training just behind the entrance, and pass through a main pathing area in my fortress close to all the main stockpiles.

Needless to say I was most disappointed that when I killed it, I could only melt down its silver dagger and not also its +brass ball+ (2).

Our fortress got its very own Trailmachines thanks to a random pump operator migrant.

Do you always look at it in ASCII?

You get used to it, I don't even see the ASCII.  All I see is blacksmith, miner, goblin.
