ALIEN ACTIVITY

Crazy slotted a new magazine into his weapon, the clicking sounds of reloading contrasted by the staccato roar of Ivan's overwatch. The bullets went wide, and the drone discharged a pulse of energy into John. His flesh singed, but more was to come.

Together the sectoids behind the boxes unleashed whips of purple energy into his mind. He jerked and spasmed as blood began to leak out of his nose and ears, collapsing onto the paved floor bonelessly. He continued to twitch as the last Sectoid moved up and prepared to fire against anything that moved.
 
Another strange sound came from the shadows down the road.

The meld canister near the warehouse began to almost groan - the yellow dots of substance orbiting thrashing around the canister frantically.

Crazy dashed forward, plasma splashing harmlessly to the side. He skidded to a stop and with a smile riddled the grey alien with bullets.
 
Pierre attempted to do the same to the floating drone, but the nimble machine dodged the stream of lead with ease.

ALIEN ACTIVITY

Plasma shots started raining over Crazy's position. The sectoid was shooting to keep him pinned rather than hurting him directly, preventing him from moving without risking a hit. Behind him, the other sectoid readies itself to shoot at the first human to move.

The meld canister Crazy is hiding behind suddenly shuts down its lid, crushing the precious substance and making it impossible for the soldiers to recover it.

Sectoid C is suppressing Crazy!

Sectoid D overwatches!
