Not flanking there. It's crossing the cover line.

Then that sectoid is barely in the blast radius. It might kill him if I'm lucky. And luck is not to be trusted in X-Com.

Gonna shoot it in the face.

Oh well.
would it have a least been flanked in this scenario:

or does it still get full (well, light, you know what I mean) cover?

Still cover bonuses. But at that distance the range bonus probably makes up for it.

Well, no- it's still only a 66% chance, plus light covers offer a quarter of my damage output in DR. (2/9 to be more precise, but whatever)

I suggest some of us move into that empty building (L7 and O7), while others go to Q7, Q12, P14.

Derek can move to K7 but he'd need to dash so he wouldn't have actions remaining.

If your intention is to dash, remember to word it like that so I don't think you accidentally numbers and made a mistake.

when you dash, do you get to gave the bonus 1 mover from two 0.5s (if you have non-integer mov, that is)?

Yeah, I know. I just wrote the positions that seem advantageous to me, without really looking if someone is there.

Quick question, how suicidal would overwatching at P14 be and would it be worth it to get another gun on the wall?

Somewhat, but with another overwatcher at Q15, it might be worth it. Or we can all just form up on the wall- no shame in that.

Assuming that Sectoids can move 6 tiles you should be fairly safe.

Actually, it is a pretty good position. You'll probably be able to flank anything moving towards the building Arthur and Derek are in.

You'll be even safer if someone goes to P18.

By the way, can we accidentally damage the Meld canister if we try shooting the Sectoid behind it?
