((Aww, no initiative bonus for being ready to fight?))
Hit one of the inquisitor with my axe. Continue drinking mead.
((Yeah, I suppose you get +20 for the first turn. It's only fair. Now then... ))
A Meta Blast strikes The Burning Night! (1vs.3) The Game Master's Wrath fails! Be warned.
((You do realize the inquisitors- ah forget it.))
Edit: ((Explains the soda at least. But really, it seems a bit unrealistic.))
Anyway... Turn Eleven: Everybody Kill LahacoBATTLE_MODE_INIT
(Lahaco: 58+1=59(sorry if you think I shouldn't do this, but initiative that was the same as another would be a nightmare.))
(Johnny Nahmates: 58+4=62(needed to change that to avoid actions happening at the same time.))
(The Burning Night: 77)
(Jase Bladeheart: 68+20!)
(Sir Notspyxeno: 53)
(Blitz: 18)
(Alexis: 27)
(Clyde Johanson: 14)
(Chief Inquisitor: 42+10!)
(Inquisitor 1: 80+10!)
(Inquisitor 2: 10+10!)
The Chief Inquisitor- wait, oh that can't be good.
(3 (examination))
Chief Inquisitor
Level Three Golem Inquisitor
Active: Force Javelin+: Conjure a javelin out of force and throw it at target foe with a +1 to hit and +1 to damage. 2 turn cooldown.
Passive: ?+Malus Passive: ?Well. The first Inquisitor moves! (4vs.3) The steel spear streaks towards Jase, (3vs.4) but he parries it, barely with his axe.
Jase promptly moves, swinging his axe towards the inquisitor, while drinking mead. Incredible. (4) A burst of mead launches from his mug and into the inquisitor's eyes! (-1 to dodge this attack) (5+2vs.3-1) Do the math. (when a dodge roll is that bad compared to the attack, I typically add a damage bonus.) (2+2+2vs.6... on anything else limbs would have been removed.) The inquisitor barely parries it, but he is knocked to the ground by the force of the blow.
The Burning Night moves, expecting Blitz to- huh. (4) Nevertheless, he stands guard in front of the Chief Inquisitor.
Johnny Nahmates rushes inside, and promptly (1) trips on his own feet, landing at the second inquisitor's feet. (1) ((So much for any chance of attacking.))
Lahaco- (5 oh come on.) just so happens to have a giant electron acceleration cannon, which he fires, draining (2) nearly all his charge, at the inquisitors, right through the floor. (4+3 = 7. vs.
Inquisitor 1: 3
Inquisitor 2: 2
Chief Inquisitor: 1+2
Jase Bladeheart: 1
The Burning Night: 1
((Sorry. I made a promise, no more rerolls. Take it with the pain.))
That is one powerful cannon.
Damage: (2+3 = 5 vs.
Inquisitor 1: 3
Inquisitor 2: 1
Chief Inquisitor: 4+2=6
Jase: 4-2 = 2
The Burning Night: 4-2 = 2
Things start exploding. The first inquisitor receives a wide variety of electric burns, but remains standing.
The second has a heart attack caused by the electricity and dies instantly.
The Chief Inquisitor just channels the electricity into his spear, giving it a damage bonus for this turn. (+2) ((the plus 2 for damage resist came from his Passive.))
Jase receives a massive shock. (4) That had to hurt- but he remains standing.
The Burning Night, however, is (2) not as lucky. Thankfully he's not dead, only unconscious.
Everybody is shocked by the move.
Sir Notspyxeno blinks. What- wow. (2) He doesn't seem to be doing very well with that handgun- where's the safety again?
The Chief Inquisitor blinks.
"What-how- it must be destroyed!" He conjures a Force Javelin and throws it down the hole! (1+1+2=4 vs. 2) The Force Javelin strikes Lahaco where it would hurt if he weren't a rovot. (4+1+2=7vs.5) The javelin lodges in Lahaco's chest plating. (3) Something shorts out. (Cannot use Conjure Matter until repaired.)
Alexis blinks.
"That's just- that magic blast will show up on everybody's arcane sensors within several hundred miles! But I sense nothing!"The second Inquisitor blinks in his death throes.
Blitz is too shocked to move. (2+3 drunk randomness) Then he leaps towards the Chief Inquisitor, dagger in hand! (5-1 vs. 1) The dagger moves rapidly towards the inquisitor, heading right for him- (5+2 vs. 3) Well that had to hurt. The dagger is lodged very firmly in the inquisitor's chest. (3) The dagger is withdrawn, and the Chief Inquisitor collapses, near unconsciousness, certainly in shock.
Clyde blinks. Then he faints.
