Answers:Public Questions:- What's percipience?
-> Percipience is your ability to perceive. This is useful in reaction rolls, initiative rolls, spot checks, searching, and seeing through lies.
- Can we find out who the other players have for characters, so we can know ahead of time which players we may have rivalries with?
-> Sadly, the answer is no. I will not disclose any information about other players. Not even generally who they are. Your identity is the most important tool in winning this game. If other people have it, they can likely notice that you are an enemy and then take steps to kill you. If they know generally who you are, then they could search for people like that. The urge to cheat is too strong if you know who other people are. In my experience, the people who conceal their identities the longest tend to come closer to winning. Remember, every character's goals conflict with at least one other person's goals.
-> A Note for Factions: So, I've given you all units and buildings that you can recruit/build, but you are not limited to what I have given you. If you wanna add something, or you have an idea, then you can do add that and I will work out the cost and mechanics for it.
-> Another Note: I will be posting a map of New Ledlin (the city where the game takes place), and New Dunland (the Dunnish colony where New Ledlin is located).
Spoiler Questions:-> Religious unity: X% ((X/2),000/50,000) = 50,000 is the population of New Ledlin. Not the full colony of New Dunland.
-> A consecrated person is a person who works for, and has devoted themselves to the church. This is monks, preachers, and missionaries. Remember, you are not limited to the units I've given you.
-> Churches are where people come to worship. The number they hold is how many people can come to a sermon. Currently, you have enough for about 1,750 people to come to a sermon per week. Remember, you have 4,000 followers, so at the moment, your churches are a bit crowded. As for other buildings you can make, there isn't anything you can't build. Though if you built a brothel, people might lose faith in the church a little. One suggestion I'll give you is maybe some shrines.
-> Potions. And some, but you're not really an expert in herbalism.
-> It depends on the WILL score of the person you are trying to seduce. You could probably get around 4 average people.
-> Sorry, I actually forgot to include that. You are a monk, like Cratus. You're not supposed to have money, because you're a monk, and also you hate it, because you're an anarchist. You live in a temple with other followers of the Church of Cirtsy. You are not expected to be at the church in the day or at night, but technically this is where you live. You are allowed to roam freely. That is a part of your church's beliefs. This is how Cratus managed to be a serial killer, and a monk without arousing suspicion.
-> Yes, you buy more businesses, expand your own, and get more money. You will have to diversify in order to gain more economic control, but you should also focus on the one's you already have. Economic control is essentially how much of the business you control in the city.
-> Not really. The only survivors of the 108th were the 12 slayers. Technically, the 108th still exists in Dunland, but it has zero relation to the slayers and it's overseas in Dunland. It's just another battalion now. The 12's descendants still exist though...
-> You lead a military of approximately 2500 people. They follow you because they respect you, and your family. If you wanna tell them that you are only in power because your family committed heinous crimes, and that you in fact don't deserve your title, then you can do that. The truth is that there is no logical explanation other than greed and evil. Long story short: tantamount to suicide.
-> It kill mages. Dat wut it do. If a mage is struck with it, then their magical energy will burn them from the inside out. It was designed to kill magical creatures, and was given to you after one of your many successful hunts.
-> No. You know that you had bedded many women when you still had your own body. You can remember only one in particular and that was a woman, who was one of the slayers. Her name escapes you. As for you items, fuck if you know what happened to em. Presumably, they were seized by the state or some of the slayers took them.
-> Just tell me what you wanna do. You can make him do anything. If you're doing something immoral, there will be a chance that David won't want to do it and will resist doing it. His will is not too strong, but it's not non-existent.
-> Yes, straight death magic. Blood magic, shadow magic, mind control magic, and just straight up death magic. David's magical affinity is not super high, which is why you need your body back. Your magic is weak when you are in David's body. You also have a nearly masterful grasp of elemental magic. The one magic you never managed was divination.
One Last Note:Any more questions can be sent to me via PM or with your turn posts. This was just to get any initial questions you had out of the way.
Also, I'm going to make the first turn post probably at some point tonight or tomorrow. Please withhold your turn posts until I've made the first turn post. It will likely include the maps. If it doesn't I'll post them turn two.
