Well, that was interesting. Decided to try and learn charge blade. Keep light-tapping A as a habit from switchaxe play.

I'm starting to think that fighting Kushala Daora isn't possible solo in G-rank. I can't even poison him before he winds up enraged, and at that point it's hopeless.

I've solo'ed the G-rank (normal) Kush with both a HBG and bow. I was farming Elder Dragon Gems and got tired of relying on randoms.

It's not easy, but certainly doable. Once you get a hang of the pattern, he dies pretty fast.

I used the C. Fatalis HBG with pierce 1, 2, and poison.

For bow I used the Chameleos bow stacked with as much poison as I could and all the extra crafting parts for more poison and a set that amplified poison too.

Reading you makes me want to get back into the saga. It got bored by the time a got to the G-rank missions in MHU3. Should I wait until MHX comes around so I'm more hyped or is it MHU4 really, really worth it?
