I choose 4.

The effect shall be to light the person on fire!

...As for what this actually does, it causes their next roll to move them 1 less. Also maybe some other effect, I dunno.

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

3.
And the effect is Showing them eldritch horrors from outside the universe.
This causes every second movement of the player who lands on this square to be backwards and gives a 1 in 6 chance of being forced to 'jump'.

The Effect is Curse of Fortuna
Once a player has stepped on the tile, he has to treat - for all purposes and intents - all of his future 6-Dice as if they were 1-Dice - and vice versa.

National-Flabortism: The player has to start his next turn by "Heil Flabort" or he doesn't move.

It would be more hilarious if it were that they had to say it when passing over the tile, or they immediately stop. I think you can do that, right?

I just want more flabort pride in this :P

It seems every game I've started playing on the forums in the past few weeks involves luck to some extent. Quite bizarre.

((Cheese: I specifically worded rules 4 and 8 so that a tile cannot cause you to stop on that tile mid turn))

Most players opt to mess with the next turn's dice (or for longer!), while Sheb makes the demilich proud.

Most everyone (except for Sheb and Escaped Lurker) passes over escaped lurker's tile, reversing their fortune. Any 1s that they pick from now on are treated as sixes and vice versa.

I'll have a 1 then.

New effect is to send the player who lands on the tile back 4 spaces, and then miss a turn unless they make a haiku about how awesome flabort is.

I choose the 5.
My new effect is, if possible, that whoever lands on the square has to skip their next 2 turns.

I will take the 4 then.
I will take the 6, if edits are allowed!

Edit: Actually.. Can I still lay claim to the 6? Overlooked my own rules right there. -.-

Right, since we are on-topic now, how are edits handled / allowed. It seems it is allowed to claim a number and then write the effect?

I take the 3 then

If a person lands on this tile they get a new system, the counter

Every time the user chooses a 6 or a 1 die, a 1 is added to his counter. The user can activate the counter whenever he wants and he moves forward the number of spaces that are on the counter. Once the user activates the counter the counter is destroyed and can no longer be used again

That leaves me with a 4, then. If unowned, cause the tile to light people on fire. If already on fire, the effects stack.

Yes, you can pick the 6. Since you're starting from your current space instead of passing over it, you don't trigger the reversed fortune effect.
If there's still an unclaimed die then I guess an edit to drop your die back into the pool is OK. It will lower your priority for claiming a tile, though.

I'm clarifying/adding a rule here: If multiple people land on the same unowned tile at once, then the first person to claim their die and land there is the one to claim it.

This leaves 1 more 4 for sheb, which means he lands on a claimed space, so the turn in a moment.
