If you could pick the next squire's starting location, would it be...

A southernly port where cultures and norms of society mix and clash with each other?
A westernly city akin to Marienburg, home of current squire in play?
An easternly outpost at the edge of kingdom's borders, a beginning of thisverse's Silk Road?
A northernly fortress where young men prove themselves in combat with giants, wildlings and mystical beasts?
Centre of the kingdom, trapping the young squire in a thick web of decadent court's schemings and plots?

Be honest and forthright about those skills being extant within your repertoire, but unremarkable. Your horse riding is at least a tad better than your archery and literacy, and that you do own your own horse. You've shown more potential in combat than other areas. As for the mark, explain you've been accused by the priests of harboring demons within yourself over a misunderstanding, and if there were any they would be gone now.

Get employed by the Blackfish family. We just got a letter of recommendation. It would be rude not to use it for its intended purposes and we really need a job right now.

-1. It would be very unhealthy for us to start thinking about betraying our employers before we've even met them. Might give us bad personality traits.

Another -1 to early backstabbing ideas
